Vestments of the First is Merrill's initial companion armor in Dragon Age II. Its armor rating is level-dependent.
Acquisition 
Edit
Merrill will have Vestments of the First and Vir Tasallan equipped when joining the party during the Act 1 quest Long Way Home.
Romance Edit
If Merrill is romanced she'll swap this armor for the Raiments of the Dalish Pariah.
