The Venomous spider is a variety of spider which has evolved to develop a venom sack allowing it to poison its prey.
Involvement
During the Magistrate's Orders quest, Hawke ventures into the Ruined Passage. Inside a chamber the party is attacked by numerous corrupted spiders, including a venomous spider.
Once the spider is killed, it drops the Spider's Silk Gland which is used in the Herbalist's Tasks quest for Solivitus.
