Hello there. I've seen you editing around and I noticed something minor, but still worthy of discussing it. When editing item pages found in the DA2 DLCs, you add the Act line on their itembox and since the DLCs are disassociated with the main plot (and thus the Acts) you write "any" next to the Act line.
I believe that's unneeded and perhaps confusing to the novice reader. Wouldn't it be better if we don't include the Act line at all in the DA2 DLC items? 12:31, August 10, 2012 (UTC)
Hey. Personally, I am confused whenever I see an empty field because you have to guess whether it is empty intentionally or the information is missing. In my opinion "None" would be better than empty string in item stats, for example.
Now about the "any" – I wasn't the one who came up with it, but I did use it extensively. I don't really see how it is different from "varies" in item stats. I think "any" is a valid answer for the question "In what act is this item available?" It is not unique to DLCs separate from the main plot (Legacy/MoTA) either, items from other DLC packs and a number of items in the main game are available in all three acts. Although now that I think of it, it might be a good idea to change "any" to "1–3" for those.

I'm still very much a newbie. From my perspective, if I'm on an item page and am interested in the item: 1- First I check Appearances in the info box to be certain of which game/DLC is involved. 2- Then I move from info box to the article Acquistion section if available. 3- I begin to look for a link to a quest, vendor, or even an enemy from whom it can be looted. No matter how detailed the item page/info box may or not be, I'm clicking that link for further information.
That makes Act in the info box more of a supplemental piece of information to me - if I'm interested in the item I'll try to find out more about how to get it regardless of where/when it is available. Maybe this is just because I'm more in tune with DA:O than DA:2, but I'd view Act more as a means to indicate a restriction or exclusivity. If it's not there, I assume that to mean at any time, or N/A. Alternatively, I would even consider writing "DLC" in Act if it is available at any time but only with a DLC installed. That being said, I'm not crazy enough to believe that my thought process applies to anyone other than me. ;) I think this subject warrants further discussion and input. ──┤ │ Eganogard │ talk ├── 16:35, August 10, 2012 (UTC)
I find act info to be the most useful when viewing item tables. You can sort the table and decide what to buy in each act, for example. And for that it doesn't matter if there's "any" or empty string or whatever for DLC items as long as it's consistent. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 16:51, August 10, 2012 (UTC)
With that in mind, do DLC items really need to be specified in Act? On the item page, not if Appearances is used. However, Viktoria has a good point about it being useful to differentiate DLC vs non-DLC items, even in a table sort as per above. Rather than have the items mixed, a sortable alternate could be used, such as "Any" for non-DLC, and "Any - DLC" or "Any (DLC)" etc. for DLC items. Hey there! I've seen that you fight off vandalism when you catch it, so I've been wondering you'd like to have rollback rights. I don't know how much you know about it, but rollback is used primarily for a quick undo for spam and vandalism. They can be used for your own edits unless you feel the need to explain the undo. Otherwise, you'll have to keep using edit summaries for normal edits (by going in the history's page to compare edits). In summary, I modified some shield cats purely for consistency's sake while editing the articles for other reasons. Hello Mostly. I'm trying to get the Lorekeeper's Robe from the mages in the Law and Order quest but after many tries I've been unsuccessful. Hi there. I've uploaded a basic screenshot. It's too time-consuming to check who drops the robe unfortunately, as there are no source files for the scripts from Awakening (the toolset was never updated to include these). Yeah, I just saw your edit to the item codes page. Are you sure about that bug with clothing? I tried gxa_im_cth_mag_002 and gxa_im_cth_mag_pla. It's the same with adding another item. They are automatically given as iron if the tier is not specified. Since robes do not have tiers, they are being given to the basic colour without us being able to alter it. Regarding this particular screenshot, can you update the robe with it's correct color? 23:08, January 4, 2013 (UTC)
This basic color is specified in the .uti file and can be different for different robes. Otherwise the two robes I mentioned would have the same color since they are using the same model. You can also change it when using additemwmat. E.g. runscript additemwmat gxa_im_cth_mag_001.uti 1 82 gives Lorekeeper's Robe with the color of Robes of the Orlesian Magister. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 23:33, January 4, 2013 (UTC)

Any tool that can open .erf and .uti files. Toolset, pyGFF or any other similar program. Anyway, the additem should add robes with the correct color/material. Victoria, I tried many times (5) before smuggler mage looted the robe. In latter playthroughts I received this. It's just uncommon drop. Dalish like leather armor dropped by elven crow assassin on Old Stark's farm was far harder to receive. Hello again! I want to ask if the Partha - Kallak set bonuses give +2 stamina regeneration on pc. Because if that's so, then it should give +4 stamina regeneration bonuses on consoles which should obviously be mentioned. Thanks in advance! 01:54, January 14, 2013 (UTC)

Hello again Mostly. I'm sorry for bugging you all the time but I think you're the only known active editor with access to the toolset. The wiki wrongfully mentioned that the Botanist's Map of Thedas was in a chest in the Redcliffe Castle. I verified that it cannot be acquired there. Few sites had also mentioned that this gift can be found in Arl Eamon's study in Denerim, however I checked there too prior and after the Landsmeet.

Hey Mostly! This time I need to know if you can help me with the Peasant Revolution page. What I mean is, certain things that happened in the past influence the dialogue choices and mark some flags. With more than 50+ walkthroughs I have pretty much completed it, however I am not certain in case I have not found another flag or something.
While D-day was helping me she told me that the toolset cannot be used effectively in the Awakening, however a user has even made a dialogue tree and lists all the flags that influence this quest. So I am wondering whether you can find where a certain flag can be altered within the game or not. 20:35, January 19, 2013 (UTC)
