Quotes and Articles Edit

I wish I knew why some pages refresh and others don't. In my experience there has been pages on this wiki which did not refresh properly until ?action=purge was appended. Other days those pages refreshed just fine without change. The short answer is that I have no idea why it does that. The longer answer is that I suspect that it has something to do with the way Wikia handles its server. I suspect that Wikia has multiple servers and each of them caches the pages differently.

I remember that once our pages wouldn't refresh either, then one day, after a prolonged period of failed transclusions and failed css, everything was suddenly resolved. Images loaded up. Stylesheets was applied. And, strangely enough, most of our pages automatically purged. -- tierrie talk contr 07:27, February 22, 2011 (UTC)
