As producer Cameron Lee announced in discussion with colleagues from EuroGamer, you will in "Dragon Age: Inquisition" have to give up the well-known from the first two parts of base camp. However, the developers provide us with an 'exciting alternative' in view.

"You could use the Keeps in a similar fashion to that [the base camps]," Lee said. "It's one of those places where you can restock equipment, but it's not a replacement for the camp system. We have something else in mind for that, which is a lot more grandiose than even the Keep system. We'll get into that later on. I think people are going to freak out!"

Unfortunately, the guys from BioWare did not gave closer look at it. For this, Lee spoke about the fast travel system of Dragon Age: Inquisition and assured, that this is only used with care. Therefore, the player will not have the ability to constantly teleport anywhere. But here too the developers want to give only in due time any more details.
