Finally left Lothering and I'm in Camp for the first time. Trying to map the conversations a little more.
Here's a link to my ugly spreadsheet I've been using. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0ArhS0kaeersGdFZLdjQ3eVRrTXlTU2xvMXZzMVZZTXc&hl=en

Well, it's amusing to threaten the Revered Mother, and Morrigan sure likes it (+4 Approval)... but Alistair is such a party pooper (-13 Approval)! Just something that amused me that I thought I'd share.

I haven't made any progress in the game due to my obsession with the dialog options. My lady friend, however, has managed to move past the Circle of Magi and I think she will be heading out to do Soldiers Peak soon. I'll probably load my game up in a moment and begin more dialog option hunting... For anyone interested, I won't be posting the conversation approval options in the wiki. This decision was made after much deliberation and laziness on my part, in which I've decided that I just don't care enough to go through the effort of learning how to do it. So, in a nutshell, I have plenty of data if you're interested in putting it up yourself. Now I have to go play my game.

I rolled my save back to defeating the Ogre in the tower before lighting the beacon. I had to see if the dialog options were correct with Morrigan and her mother... and you know what? Surprise! I got a +4 w/Alistair and a +8 from her! Huh. Who'd have thunk it. Anyways, I'm on hold with the game at this point while I try to figure out how this damn wiki thing works so I can post this info in a table/template! Sheesh! Maybe I'll just throw it out there in raw text and let someone else who knows a thing or two figure it out? You decide unless I can con my friend Kyle into doing it for me. Oh and as for right now, the lady friend has taken the opportunity to play her game. She just picked up Shale and I think she may be heading to Soldiers Pea…Read more >
Well, so far I've managed to play through all of the origin stories. I just wanted to see how they all started. I'm most attracted to playing an Elven Mage or Human Rogue for the min/max effect. It seems that Human Rogue from the start is the most practical choice, i.e. lock picking, trap detection/disable, and let's not forget that they can become insane damage dealers with a high dex/cunning and dual wielding dagger options. But I digress...
I'm quite impressed with the storyline and it seems that it just twists and turns. Just when you think someone is your friend or ally, BAM! Backstabbed! Bastards. I'm currently content playing a male human rogue, and I'm making my way through the game. I just finished the Ostegar portion and have arri…Read more >
