Dragon Age: Inquisition goes Alpha ahead of E3 2014.
Following news that BioWare's Dragon Age: Inquisition was content complete in late April, executive producer Mark Darrah took to Twitter yesterday to announce that the game has entered alpha phase.
Mark Darrah indicated as much on Twitter. “We have declared Alpha! A major milestone for Dragon Age! Next up, E3.” So to those attending E3, look forward to being able to play Inquisition on the show floor. As it stands, the game is still several months away from release and as bug testing progresses, we’ll get a better glimpse at the game’s mechanics and missions.
For those of you not familiar with the term, the fact that Dragon Age: Inquisition is now in Alpha means that the game now features all the content that will be available at launch. Or as Creative Director, Mike Laidlaw asserts: “This means, in short, that pretty much all the stuff to go in the game is in the game. And now? Now we make it alllllll work together.”
