Just a day after Dragon Age III: Inquisition was announced, co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk are leaving BioWare. The good doctors apparently feel that they need to move on pursue new things. Muzyka will be moving to non-game related activities but didn't rule out a return, but it seems that Zeschuk's gone for good, saying that there a "strong possibility" he won't return to gaming.

Responding to fan concerns, Chris Priestly confirmed that while BioWare was sad to see the pair leave, it would not affect the development of Dragon Age III.
