About me
Edit
I am a 43 year old systems and software engineer from Sweden. I saw a computer (an Apple IIe) for the first time in 1979, and have been working with them in one way or another since that, which I suppose is since before most of you were born ;-)
From the start I have been more interested in the computers themselves, and in making them do what I wanted, rather than using them from playing games. Once in a while however I find a game that I get really stuck on, and DAO is the latest. Other off-hand favourites through the years in sort-of sequential order are: Elite, Quake II, Unreal, Command&Conquer, Knights of the old republic, Neverwinter Nights and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (I'm sure I've missed some important ones, but as I said: off-hand). There have been other of course, a lot of them, but these are the more important that I've played over and over.
For a period I got really into MMORPGs in the form of EVE and Star Wars Galaxies. Left the first for the latter, and left the latter when they "re-made" it into some silly on-line shooter game without the shooter feeling. Never really got why World of Warcraft could get so popular, though...
