Trap-Making is a crafting skill. Characters who have learned this skill can construct traps or lures from common components, so long as they also possess a plan to build the mechanism. The second and fourth rank of this skill also increase the range at which the character can detect enemy traps. Note that while all characters who have learned this skill can set traps, only rogues can disarm them.
Traps and Lures have been divided into two main sections. The first section deals with Traps and Lures whose primary function is to impede the movement of the enemy. The second section deals with Traps whose primary function is to damage the enemy. Within each section, they are ordered in terms of power. The list assumes that slow < sleep < knockdown < snare < stun.
Movement-Impairing Traps & Lures
Caltrop Traps
Caltrop Traps slow enemies, and sometimes deal damage, but they do not knockdown or snare enemies.

Although the balls in this trap do roll nicely, the spikes make them decidedly unsafe for children.

Claw Traps snare enemies and deal physical damage.

Interesting Lure
The inventor of this lure claimed to be inspired by the distracting beauty of a flaxen-haired tavern wench. Although the resemblance is hard to see, this device is admittedly attractive, as inanimate objects go.
