Templars to the West is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Fighting between apostate mages and rogue templars has driven refugees from their homes and endangered everyone in the area.

Acquisition Edit

Finding any part of the Codex entry: Templar Encampment will start the quest. There are three parts: one is looted from a templar that must be killed during Agrarian Apostate, one on a bench inside Fort Connor and one sitting on a bench in a camp just past Fort Connor. Approaching the camp will also automatically trigger the quest.

Walkthrough Edit

The Templar Encampment is located directly south of the Broken Bridge landmark on the West Road. Clear the camp of every templar to complete the quest (approximately ten).

Rewards Edit

  • 354 XP
  • 200 Influence
  • 2 Power

  • This quest must be completed before completing In Your Heart Shall Burn. Once that quest is completed, the templar/mage war is ended, and the quest disappears, along with Apostates in Witchwood.
  • The search point for Map to a Waterfall is at the back on the west side of the camp, at the top near the waterfall.
  • Once this quest is completed, random (non-Red Lyrium) templar groups will no longer spawn in the Hinterlands. If both this quest and the quest Apostates in Witchwood are completed, the fighting sounds around Fort Connor stop as well.
