Tingler[]

Isn't Tingler also a notable Item?

Yup, I'd say so too. Just added it to the list. --M.harmless (talk) 11:42, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

Prisoners[]

You get to a point, before the Avaar chamber, where you fight some crazed ghouls, but there are also a few normal Humans down there locked up. They ask to be let out. You can let them out, ask for a bribe to let them out, tell them it's safer in their cell, or just blow them off.

Thinking back to Origins, I'd say 2/3 of the people locked up deserved to be (IMO), and the ones who didn't were locked up by a bad guy (Howe). Given that this is a GW tower, and the only other prisoner you could have met prior to this point is someone who tried to kill you, I'm guessing these prisoners are probably in there for a good reason, but none of the dialogue options allow you to investigate why they're locked up. I tend to tell them they're probably safer in the cell, and once the basement is cleared, if you come back, the cell is empty (so I guess the castelan let them out or moved them). Has anyone taken another route, or know the impact of the other options? Servius 03:03, April 22, 2010 (UTC)

I'm more than two years late in replying to this but I'm pretty certain that two letters/notes in the basement, (written between Howe and his captain) suggest that these were the soldiers who were against Howe attacking Bryce Cousland from HN origin and thus got locked up in the dungeon so that Howe's head did not end up on a plate. I freed them and both Anders and Nathaniel approved by +5. This seems to suggest that the "criminals," while possibly guilty, haven't committed crimes serious enough to warrant death by ghoul-onslaught ;) --rival_grace
