I have encountered the bug mentioned. I came back to the Cross to try to complete this quest and get Effort's Gloves after finishing A Paragon of Her Kind and initiating the landsmeet. I was able to examine all piles of rubble and got all codex entries (and the quest) but the cache never appeared. Is there a workaround for this?

I encountered the same bug on PC. I went back to camp right after I arrived the area to switch party member, and the quest did not show up even though I looted everything in the area.

I suppose the best "work around" is simply not to use the Effort armor set. The -10% fatigue set bonus is nice, but it's just not worth the effort. There are still Wade's, Juggernaut, Blood Dragon, etc. You're not going to have enough tanks to equip all of them.

EDIT: Never mind. I missed the rubble near the western exit. It's fine.

Would someone please mark the rubble piles with the first few words from the corresponding codex entry?[]

I found three of the four piles and I believe they all spawned correctly but I have no way of telling which pile I missed so I'm not certain of it.
