How do you trigger this encounter? I have failed many stealing attempts in the Circle Tower and cannot for the life of me get this encounter to show up. Anyone know which areas you need to move between to trigger it? Eternalspirit (talk) 08:43, April 26, 2015 (UTC)
- Are you sure you're doing before resolving broken circle? You can't trigger it afterwards. Also there's only a limited chance of it occuring during any given trip. Try traveling to different places several times without reloading.

- Yes I am definitely attempting this before resolving Broken Circle. I have only just gotten to the tower and asked Greigor what's going on. I wonder if the issue is that I still haven't cleared the bandits encounter on Twisted Path yet. Eternalspirit (talk) 19:32, April 26, 2015 (UTC)
how I can Start narrow road. I failed a stealing attempt on Greagoir. but narrow Road does not start. I hope you can help me
- I'm not sure if Greagoir will work because there is a unique failure sequence for that. Try failing to steal from one of the other individuals at the tower. Also as above, it can only be triggered before completing Broken Circle

I have failed a stealing attempt on the quartermaster in circle tower and I dont have finished Broken circle. but Narrow road does not start.

I have problems with Narrow Road too. I have failed stealing on any person in Circle (in 'lobby' of the Tower), and have traveled more then 250 times on the World Map. I'm trying to start encounter before any of 4 main quests have been completed (right after visiting Lothering), maybe this is the problem? Maybe this encounter starts only if one or more of main quests have been completed (except Broken Circle ofcourse)? Sorry for my English --37.204.29.141 (talk) 19:04, June 17, 2015 (UTC)Rademes
I can't trigger this encounter either, in any of my playthroughs. Even though I failed stealing attempts on multiple characters in the lobby, and I'm running around before finishing Broken Circle. This is on 
. Too bad the people above didn't mention what platforms they were on. I just edited the main page to include a bug section mentioning it simply won't trigger for many people. Would be great to include info on which platform(s) that occurs. Ace-089 (talk) 23:31, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- I see my addition was amended today, probably to be more in line with Fandom guidelines, looks good, thanks for not simply deleting, I think it deserves a spot on the page, since so many people have already banged their head on the wall trying to get this encounter.
