Swift Salve is an item in Dragon Age: Origins. It grants the user +20% movement speed, +20% attack speed and +10% aiming speed for 1 minute.

Bug! This item, like Haste, actually slows down aim speed, increasing animation length by +0.9s. See Bugs (Origins) for details.

• This item can found as a loot throughout the game.

• One of it is sold by Shopkeeper at the Village Store in Haven.

Notes Edit

• Attack Speed Bonus: 20.0% = 0.8 base attack animation duration. It means DPS is effectively increased by 25%. Refer to Momentum to learn more about attack speed modifiers.
  • It can stack with Momentum without Precise Striking, as the animation length with both buffs on is exactly 0.5.

• For shapeshifting forms, Swift Salve increases movement speed normally. However, it does not affect their attack speed.
