The Scout is a temporary companion for the Dwarf Noble. This scout aids the Dwarf Noble and his party in finding the Shield of Aeducan in the Deep Roads during A Noble Expedition quest.

He is part of Bhelen's scheme to remove both of his siblings in one move. When King Endrin with his party reach the area where Train is dead, he will give the testimony that the Dwarf Noble ordered them to kill him even if that's not true. The Dwarf Noble can execute him for his words during a cutscene by slitting his throat.
