If the Warden put him on the throne, Alistair will make a brief appearance in Dragon Age II during the quest King Alistair. He will be accompanied by Bann Teagan. If a female human noble married him in Origins, he will humorously refer to her as "the old ball and chain." When Bann Teagan comments that the Queen hates being called this, Alistair will say that "Just because she killed an Archdemon, she doesn't scare me." Teagan replies, "You keep telling yourself that Your Majesty." If Alistair slept with both the Female Warden and Isabela, then she will tease him when they meet again.
If you didn't put Alistair on the throne, but killed Loghain during the Landsmeet, he will show up during the last quest of Year 4, outside of your uncle's house. If you allowed Bethany/Carver to join the Grey Wardens, then you will see them with Alistair. He seems to be a commander in the Grey Wardens, and gives you an item if Hawke asks him to fight against the Qunari.
If you didn't put Alistair on the throne, and allowed Loghain to live, Alistair will appear in The Hanged Man as a drunk, twice. The second time, Bann Teagan will come and ask Alistair to return to Fereldan, in which Alistair stands, and they both leave. Anora

Leliana
Edit
If a save is imported where Leliana was in a relationship with the warden a codex entry containing a letter from her will be in the player's inventory at the start of Dragon Age: Awakening.

Leliana appears in Faith and in the ending no matter whether she survived in Origins or not. This has been acknowledged by Bioware developers, who have also claimed that an explanation will eventually come if she was killed in Origins.
If you romanced Leliana in Dragon Age: Origins and imported your save she will speak about how the Warden is "dear to her heart", otherwise she will state that she has not seen the Warden in years, or say that they are "a good King/Queen" (if they married Anora/Alistair). If Leliana slept with both the Warden and Isabela, then she will tease her when they meet again.
Strangely she will say she accompanied the Warden until the end, even if the Urn of Andraste was defiled and she turned against the Warden resulting in her death, or if she wasn't recruited in Lothering at all. This could be a bug or an oversight, but could also hide a future plot point.Sophia Dryden

Zevran
Edit
If a save is imported where Zevran was in a relationship with the warden a codex entry containing a letter from him will be in the player's inventory at the start of Dragon Age: Awakening.

If Zevran survived the events of Dragon Age: Origins, he may be encountered in a cave near a Dalish elf camp after you have triggered a quest given by an Antivan outside the entrance of the Blooming Rose. Hawke will have the option of bringing him back to his employer, letting him go or fighting him. If you let Zevran go and kill the Crows hunting him, he will appear during the final battle with Meredith to help you.
If Zevran was not in a loving relationship with the Warden at the end of Dragon Age: Origins, he will offer to "get to know" Hawke after the Crows are eliminated. If the champion is in a relationship with Isabela and she is in the party during the quest A Murder of Crows, it is possible to have a threesome between Isabela, the champion, and Zevran, if the champion agrees to kill the Crows that are after him. Even if you're in a relationship with Isabela, she will ask Zevran for sex. Hawke can ask her not to, and Isabela will comply, telling Hawke had better make up for it with sex later. If the champion is in a relationship with Anders, Merrill or Fenris and they are present when Zevran makes his offer, they will react jealously and Zevran will retract his offer. If Zevran is in a loving relationship with the warden he will not offer sex and the Crows will comment on the warden. (This is still bugged and may not occur as of patch 1.04) The Warden

Despite the various epilogues of Awakening, Anders will always appear in Dragon Age 2.
In Act I, If Anders meets Stroud in the Deep Roads, Stroud will have different a line depending on if Anders "died" in Awakening. Justice

Currently, there are no plot flags checked in Dragon Age II for the "Return to Ostagar", "Darkspawn Chronicles", "Leliana's Song", "Golems of Amgaraak" and "Witch Hunt" DLC packs. Although the decision to burn Cailan's remains will be checked when importing to Dragon Age II initially.
