- For the romances in the specific games, see Romance (Origins), Romance (Dragon Age II), and Romance (Inquisition).
- For sexuality in Thedas, see Sexuality and marriage.
Romances have been a recurring aspect of the Dragon Age game series. In Dragon Age: Origins, four companions are romantic possibilities, two of them are romanceable by either sex. In Dragon Age II, five companions are romantic possibilities, and all but one of them are romanceable by either sex; the heterosexual male exception is part of a DLC. Dragon Age: Inquisition will feature eight romanceable characters[1], including non-playable characters in addition to companions, with two romances restricted by gender and/or race[2]. Consult the individual companion pages for tips on how to flirt successfully with a particular partner.
