Rendorn Guerrin is the Arl of Redcliffe during the Orlesian occupation of Ferelden. He is one of the leading figures of the Fereldan Rebellion which rose up against King Meghren and the Orlesian rule.
At some point Rendorn managed to capture Moira the Rebel Queen. What he did not know was that Moira had allowed herself be captured in order to get close to him. She knew that he wasn't the sort of man who'd turn her over to the Orlesians and she proved to be right, winning him over.
After Rendorn threw his support behind Moira, he and his wife Marina decided that Fereldan was too unsafe for their sons. They decided that she would take the boys to Ansburg, where the three of them would stay with her sister Thalia Aurum, the Margravine of Ansburg until the war ended. Marina took the children to Denerim, where they boarded a ship headed for the Free Marches. Marina died of a fever shortly after reaching her sister's estate, and from then on the boys where raised by Thalia and her husband.Rendorn's daughter Rowan was betrothed to marry Moira's son Maric Theirin when they came of age, and a coronation for the Rebel Queen was held at Redcliffe. The Arl sent his two sons to stay with relatives in the Free Marches and went forth from Redcliffe to join the rebellion, becoming one of the queen's generals. After Moira was slain by traitors, Arl Rendorn took command of the rebellion; he was killed during the disastrous battle at West Hill, along with most of the rebel army at 8:99 Blessed.
