Ghyslain de Carrac is involved in the quest The First Sacrifice. After his wife goes missing, he puts up papers speaking of a reward. Hawke must then go and talk to him where he will explain the status of his failing marriage and that he wants his wife to be found so her family will not ruin him. He will tell Hawke that his wife frequented The Blooming Rose with her lover Jethann, whom he said sent her white lillies. When questioning Jethann about Ninette, he will tell Hawke that a templar named Emeric was looking for her and went to Darktown to investigate. At the place that Hawke finds Emeric, he will say that Ninette disappeared at the same time that a Circle mage named Mharen did along with two other women, and leaves Hawke with his findings that lead to the foundry in Lowtown. Once Ninette's fate is found out, Ghyslain will express relief that Ninette's family cannot ruin him and will reward Hawke.
In the quest All That Remains, Quentin causes Ninette to appear in the possessed form of a desire demon which Hawke must destroy, along with Alessa and Leandra Amell.
