Mind Blast is a mage spell from the Spirit tree in Dragon Age: Origins.

Information

Area of effect: self-centered 5 m radius sphere. Duration (s): (3.0 + (4.0 - (Party Size))) * (Target Rank Duration Modifier).
Conjuration time: 1s.
Mind Blast clears all Threat, except for distance-based Threat, drawn from affected enemies.

Notes

Activation base is in Mana and values vary with fatigue%.
Arcane Warrior Spellcasting: The spell requires be cast with your weapon(s) sheathed.
The spell works very well for shaking off melee enemies attacking the caster, if the caster runs away after using the spell. Otherwise, distance-based Threat is likely too high and many enemies will resume attacking the caster, after the stun wears off.
