This page contains a list of situational dialogue and conversations Korbin has with other characters in Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer.

Korbin's remarks[]

  • (Fallen) True death, at last.
  • (Fallen) For the legion.
  • (Treasure room) I don't believe what I'm seeing.
  • (Idle) I am more effective when I'm doing something.
  • (Idle) There's no honour in being idle.
  • (Idle) We're wasting time.
  • (To DLC character banter) I’m just honoured to have a place here.

Korbin and Amund[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Amund: You should tell the tale again, tiny friend. It never gets dull!

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Amund: All of it is rendered to the Lady, in time.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Amund: Nothing is certain, tiny friend. The will of the gods can be strange indeed.

───────

  • Amund: The Lady of the Skies led me to your Herald. What is Andraste the goddess of, anyway?
  • Korbin: I can't say that's ever happened to me.

 Korbin and Argent []

  • Korbin: This one time in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Argent: Perhaps the dwarf would fare better if we were fighting darkspawn instead.

───────

  • Korbin: There's so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Argent: I knew of a baroness with a menagerie in her bedroom. She liked nature.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Argent: It is pointless to speculate on the future.

───────

  • Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
  • Korbin: There is strength in numbers.

───────

  • Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
  • Korbin: You talk like you’re something to be passed from owner to owner.

───────

  • Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
  • Korbin: Everything dies.

Korbin and Belinda[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Belinda: I think I saw a Darkspawn once. It was during the Blight. I was just a girl then.

───────

  • Korbin: There's so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Belinda: Have you visited the rookery? Who knew birds could crap so much?

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Belinda: I’m sure we could find a way for you to stay. If you wanted to stay, that is.

───────

  • Belinda: I met the Divine Justinia only once before she died. She was lovely.
  • Korbin: I’ve heard only that she was honourable.

───────

  • Belinda: I pray the Maker smiles on the Inquisition. Our cause is righteous!
  • Korbin: It will take more than prayer to win this battle.

───────

  • Belinda: I hope to stay and serve the Inquisition, once this war is over.
  • Korbin: I’m sure they would welcome you.

Korbin and Cillian[]

  • Korbin: This one time in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Cillian: And now you’re here. I suppose certain skills are universal.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Cillian: It’s a fine thing to see all the world has to offer. I haven’t done enough of it myself.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Cillian: You think too much of the future.

───────

  • Cillian: I once dreamed of seeing places like this.
  • Korbin: So did I.

───────

  • Cillian: Being with the Inquisition has opened my eyes to how little I truly understood the world before.
  • Korbin: You and I both.

───────

  • Cillian: Did anyone try that ham they had at camp yesterday?
  • Korbin: You mean the nug-loaf?

Korbin and Hall[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Hall: I never encountered Darkspawn, nor do I wish to.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Hall: I’ve seen pictures of Deep Roads creatures. Those pale things with claws and teeth. Terrifying.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Hall: I wonder if there are dwarves afraid of the dark.

───────

  • Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
  • Korbin: A fear I have been turning over in my own head.

───────

  • Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
  • Korbin: I would gladly share ale with you.

───────

  • Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
  • Korbin: I’m still getting used to mountains. And the sky.

Korbin and Isabela[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Isabela: I once held off sobriety for two days. Well, a week and two days.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Isabela: The dwarven kingdom just sounds so dull. Dull, yet dangerous, the worst combination.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Isabela: You don’t have to! I have a boat. How good are you at drunken singing?

Korbin and Katari[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Katari: Why do they not just step over you?

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Katari: You never know. You might’ve left the Legion.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Katari: You should choose your own path.

───────

  • Katari: This Inquisition must be desperate, recruiting the way they do. Just look at us!
  • Korbin: And what is wrong with us?

───────

  • Katari: Ever fought a wyvern? I did once. Sold the head for good money, too.
  • Korbin: I hear they’re poisonous.

───────

  • Katari: I’ll be happy if I never see a demon again after this.
  • Korbin: I whole-heartedly agree.

Korbin and another Korbin[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Other Korbin: Funny, I think I’ve done the exact same thing.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Other Korbin: Yes. Birds. They fly. In the air. Now back home when anything’s flying at you, someone’s throwing it.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Other Korbin: It is our duty.

Korbin and Luka[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Luka: Stupid Carta got messed up with Darkspawn blood once. It wasn’t pretty.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Luka: Yes, much more to eat up here.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Luka: You’re crazy, why would you go back?

───────

  • Luka: Inquisition is such a funny word!
  • Korbin: I don’t think so. It’s short and to the point.

───────

  • Luka: When I was trapped in the Vimmark Mountains, I ate lots of mushrooms.
  • Korbin: You ought to try them cooked in ale, and served over roast nug.

───────

  • Luka: I wonder if I could find that cave with the glowing lichen again – it was west of Ferelden.
  • Korbin: You certainly won’t find me any help.

Korbin and Neria[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Neria: You Durgen’len are so funny.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Neria: I cannot imagine what’s it like to never see the sky.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Neria: Your customs are so odd.

───────

  • Neria: (gasps) I've never had my skills so tested in my life!
  • Korbin: Count yourself lucky.

───────

  • Neria: It will be a relief to return to my clan once all this is done.
  • Korbin: My duty weighs heavy on my mind as well.

───────

  • Neria: I never thought I would say this, but I’ve learned much from traveling with you all.
  • Korbin: We all have.

Korbin and Rion[]

  • Korbin: This one time in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Rion: Really? If you were down there, how did you know two days passed?

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Rion: Yes, it's all quite lovely. Except for the squirrels. I hate squirrels.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Rion: You shouldn’t go back. You really, really shouldn’t. It sounds horrible.

───────

  • Rion: You know, this Inquisition? Isn’t as bad as I thought.
  • Korbin:  It’s better than the Deep Roads, that’s for sure.

───────

  • Rion: When this is over, I hope we mages are given some freedom. After all, isn’t the point to change things?
  • Korbin: I honestly find it difficult to find where I stand on the whole thing.

───────

  • Rion: Well, how’s everyone doing today?
  • Korbin: I am well, my friend. And you?

Korbin and Sidony[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Sidony: Homesick, are we?

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Sidony: It all dies, don’t worry.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Sidony: Yes that sounds good. Go with that.

───────

  • Sidony: This is ridiculous. Why did I agree to come here?
  • Korbin: A mystery for the ages.

───────

  • Sidony: (Disgusted noise.)
  • Korbin: Are you feeling alright?

───────

  • Sidony: Once this is over, the spymaster promised to let me look at her library.
  • Korbin: I fear what’s in a spymaster’s library.

Korbin and Tamar[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Tamar: Darkspawn, red Templars, demons. They’ll all die screaming.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Tamar: Just wait until you see a dragon.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Tamar: Sounds like you’re not looking forward to it.

───────

  • Tamar: Your Chantry goes belly up, the Inquisition steps in. Always something to keep the same people in power.
  • Korbin: I take it you have no love for the Inquisition?

───────

  • Tamar: The last time I met a group of rebel mages, I let them live. One of them told a funny story.
  • Korbin: I have come across very few mages in my life.

───────

  • Tamar: If I survive, I’ll be free. The commander gave his word – I fight for him, and I get to live.
  • Korbin: The commander will keep his word. He’s an honourable man.

Korbin and Thornton[]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Thornton: Ah, dwarves and Darkspawn. The endless war, one side pushing incessantly on the doors of the other’s last refuge. Reminds me of a relationship of mine that went sour.
  • or Thornton: Darkspawn. The bastards look terrible and smell worse.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Thornton: Ever been hunting? We’ll take you hunting. Get you a little bow.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Thornton: Your duty is a drawn out death sentence.

───────

  • Thornton: When the Breach first opened, I managed to evade demons by hiding in a snowdrift.
  • Korbin: Demons must be stupider than I thought.

───────

  • Thornton: Considering what we’re up against, I really hope the Inquisition knows what it’s doing.
  • Korbin: All we can do is take each day as it comes.

───────

  • Thornton: If I survive this, maybe I’ll move to a cottage. Get a dog. And a vegetable garden.
  • Korbin: If only I had that luxury. It’s the Deep Roads for me.

Korbin and Zither![]

  • Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
  • Zither!: I once held off a hangover for two days. It was just like that, but with groupies.

───────

  • Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
  • Zither!: This isn’t life? You should’ve been there when I played in the Grand Necropolis. That was life. And some undeath.

───────

  • Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
  • Zither!: What, you got a gig book there or something? You’ve got to fire your manager, friend.
