Indignant Spirits appear to be the ghosts of dwarven warriors that haunt the Deep Roads.

The innumerable deaths caused by the Blights has thinned the Veil and left shadows of the fallen dwarven warriors who now stalk the Deep Roads unable to tell friend from foe as they continue their vendetta against the Darkspawn.
