This page contains a list of situational dialogue and conversations Hall has with other characters in Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer.
Hall's remarks[]
- (Idle) Why have we stopped? Is something wrong?
- (Idle) Is it safe to wait here?
- (Idle) What have you gotten yourself into Hall?
- (Low health) I don’t mean to complain but this pain is quite severe.
- (low health) These wounds… not so small.
- (low health) I do fear I’m dying.
- (low health) Could I trouble you for help?
- (low health) Stiff upper lip, Hall
- (low health) I’ll try to remain useful
- (low health) Might I trouble you for a little healing?
- (Fallen) If it’s over, so be it.
- (Fallen) There are worse fates.
- (Fallen) I hope I made you proud.
- (Passing into the Fade) Maybe they’ll fare better now
- (Revived) I do believe I’ve broken something
- (Revived) I’m not worth the trouble, honest.
- (To DLC character banter) It feels good to be the cog in a machine for good, if that makes sense.
Hall and Amund[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Amund: Your hold must have been very dull indeed, my friend. No wonder the Lady lead you to us.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Amund: Why would you wish it? I could take you to join the Avvar instead!
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Amund: We will drink and sing songs of our victories until the gods themselves take notice!
Hall and Argent[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Argent: I work better alone as well.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Argent: Best not to wonder.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Argent: I do not fraternise.
───────
- Argent: This is the first time I've worked for an organization like the Inquisition. It was always a person before.
- Hall: I’ve never been part of something like this before either.
───────
- Argent: When we’re through, perhaps the spymaster will turn me over to someone else.
- Hall: When we’re through, I just hope she doesn’t kill me.
───────
- Argent: I like birds. I had a parakeet. It was blue. And then it died.
- Hall: That’s… horrible
Hall and Belinda[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Belinda: But you like it here, right?
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Belinda: Why would you want to? You could stay with the Inquisition. We would welcome you.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Belinda: The tavern is quite rowdy, isn’t it? I didn’t think you’d like that.
───────
- Belinda: I met the Divine Justinia only once before she died. She was lovely.
- Hall: I don’t know what I’d say to the Divine if I met her. Maybe… your Grace? Is ‘hello’ too familiar?
───────
- Belinda: I pray the Maker smiles on the Inquisition. Our cause is righteous!
- Hall: Your faith is a little scary, Belinda.
───────
- Belinda: I hope to stay and serve the Inquisition, once this war is over.
- Hall: Why not travel a little? See the world!
Hall and Cillian[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Cillian: I understand.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Cillian: You could. But perhaps it will not satisfy you as it did.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Cillian: Certainly. I should like to try that at least once.
───────
- Cillian: I once dreamed of seeing places like this.
- Hall: Really? Because this is a bit of a nightmare for me. Did you see what we're up against?
───────
- Cillian: Being with the Inquisition has opened my eyes to how little I truly understood the world before.
- Hall: I'll never understand everything. Perhaps that’s a good thing.
───────
- Cillian: Did anyone try that ham they had at camp yesterday?
- Hall: Ah. Do you mean the ham that was green and fuzzy on the outside?
Hall and another Hall[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Other Hall: It’s hard worrying what they all think of you, isn’t it?
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Other Hall: Maybe you don’t want to.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Other Hall: I think so. Maybe. But let’s try not to look at anyone the wrong way.
Hall and Isabela[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Isabela: Too much silence can make a man insane. I’ve seen it happen.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Isabela: Going backwards is silly, if you ask me. Far too easy to trip on your own feet.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Isabela: Only if the drink leads to something else, sweet thing.
Hall and Katari[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Katari: Yeah, pretty much the same.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Katari: No, you won’t.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Katari: Is it?
───────
- Katari: This Inquisition must be desperate, recruiting the way they do. Just look at us!
- Hall: I still can’t believe they took me.
───────
- Katari: Ever fought a wyvern? I did once. Sold the head for good money, too.
- Hall: The-the head?
───────
- Katari: I’ll be happy if I never see a demon again after this.
- Hall: You actually sound… afraid. That’s unexpected.
Hall and Korbin[]
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Korbin: A fear I have been turning over in my own head.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Korbin: I would gladly share ale with you.
───────
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Korbin: I’m still getting used to mountains. And the sky.
───────
- Korbin: Once in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.
- Hall: I never encountered Darkspawn, nor do I wish to.
───────
- Korbin: There’s so much life on the surface. If not for the Inquisition, I would never have experienced it.
- Hall: I’ve seen picture of Deep Roads creatures. Those pale things with claws and teeth. Terrifying.
───────
- Korbin: Once this is all over, I suppose I’ll have to return to the Deep Roads.
- Hall: I wonder if there are dwarves afraid of the dark.
Hall and Luka[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Luka: I spent months lost in a magical prison. Never got used to that.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Luka: I once tried to eat tree bark. It wasn’t very tasty.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Luka: I like the undercroft better.
───────
- Luka: Inquisition is such a funny word!
- Hall: It implies inquiry. I find it quite instructive actually.
───────
- Luka: When I was trapped in the Vimmark Mountains, I ate lots of mushrooms.
- Hall: What I wouldn’t give to be trapped somewhere quiet sometimes.
───────
- Luka: I wonder if I could find that cave with the glowing lichen again – it was west of Ferelden.
- Hall: Are you sure it wasn’t south of the Imperium?
Hall and Neria[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Neria: You’re not the only one. This has been an experience.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Neria: (sighs) I can’t wait to get back to my clan.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Neria: Please. The tavern?
───────
- Neria: (gasps) I've never had my skills so tested in my life!
- Hall: I know what you mean. Everyone is so experienced, sometimes I feel out of place.
───────
- Neria: It will be a relief to return to my clan once all this is done.
- Hall: I try not to think about the future.
───────
- Neria: I never thought I would say this, but I’ve learned much from traveling with you all.
- Hall: Glad to be of service
Hall and Rion[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Rion: And it shows.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Rion: Somthing tells me you’d be anxious in any case.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Rion: I’ll drink you under the table any day.
───────
- Rion: You know, this Inquisition? Isn’t as bad as I thought.
- Hall: There’s more beer than I expected. It helps.
───────
- Rion: When this is over, I hope we mages are given some freedom. After all, isn’t the point to change things?
- Hall: I thought the point was to get things back under control?
───────
- Rion: Well, how’s everyone doing today?
- Hall: I worry I forgot to do something.
Hall and Sidony[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Sidony: Why would you want to get used to it?
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Sidony: Could you please wonder a little more quietly?
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Sidony: (laughs) Oh. You were serious.
───────
- Sidony: This is ridiculous. Why did I agree to come here?
- Hall: You know we could be friends if you tried.
───────
- Sidony: (Disgusted noise.)
- Hall: Are you alright?
───────
- Sidony: Once this is over, the spymaster promised to let me look at her library.
- Hall: I wonder what she reads for fun.
Hall and Tamar[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Tamar: Don’t get too attached to all those people. They die.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Tamar: At least you have the option.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Tamar: We’re not friends.
───────
- Tamar: Your Chantry goes belly up, the Inquisition steps in. Always something to keep the same people in power.
- Hall: I suppose you’d prefer chaos.
───────
- Tamar: The last time I met a group of rebel mages, I let them live. One of them told a funny story.
- Hall: Do you prefer slapstick? Dark comedy? Puns? I-I know a few limericks?
───────
- Tamar: If I survive, I’ll be free. The commander gave his word – I fight for him, and I get to live.
- Hall: The commander will keep his promise. He seems a good man.
Hall and Thornton[]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Thornton: (laughs) Nice to have someone watching your back for a change, isn’t it?
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Thornton: (laughs) Oh, probably not. But that’s what growing is all about.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Thornton: Sure. Why not.
───────
- Thornton: When the Breach first opened, I managed to evade demons by hiding in a snowdrift.
- Hall: Freezing to death is hardly preferable.
───────
- Thornton: Considering what we’re up against, I really hope the Inquisition knows what it’s doing.
- Hall: Me too. The thought keeps me up at night.
───────
- Thornton: If I survive this, maybe I’ll move to a cottage. Get a dog. And a vegetable garden.
- Hall: I find that dogs are often nicer than people.
Hall and Zither![]
- Hall: There are so many people in the world. I'm not used the lack of silence.
- Zither!: The lack of silence was a great song, Ed Two – who was that by, again? Ahh- I’ll think of it later.
───────
- Hall: I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to the life I had before.
- Zither!: Listen, Ed Two, there is no going back. Or was that left? Whatever, just keep heading for the stage and you’ll be fine.
───────
- Hall: So when we get back does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?
- Zither!: You remind me of my harpsichordist, Edmond! I'm going to call you "Ed Two."
