Garahel was the Elven Grey Warden who united Thedas against the Fourth Blight. He died putting an end to it by striking the killing blow against the Archdemon, Andoral.

Background Edit

In 5:20 Exalted, Garahel led an army of Wardens and Anderfels to break the darkspawn siege of Hossberg. He then gathered more Wardens from Orlais and the Anderfels and marched to Starkhaven. There, he organized an alliance between the minor kings and teyrns of the Free Marches.

A united army marched north to free Antiva from the darkspawn during the infamous battle of Ayesleigh in 5:20 Exalted. There, Garahel slew the archdemon Andoral in combat, but perished in doing so.

Garahel's armies slaughtered so many darkspawn that it was believed that they would never return, and indeed it was to be four centuries before the darkspawn returned to the surface in any significant numbers.

Involvement Edit

• Duncan will speak a little about Garahel to an elven recruit who asks about elves in the Grey Wardens.
• Morrigan may tell a male Warden she is romancing that there are stories of Garahel's sexual prowess.
