I picked up my copy of Inquisition today, and it seems rather clear that this game wasn't meant for last-gen consoles. Everything is compressed with extremely small text, similar to Dead Rising, and the graphics tend to not load properly. Also, the lip-syncing is off, and overall it feels like the hardware is having difficulties keeping up with the game proper.

Has anyone else had similar problems? I'm hoping it's just a day-one problem that'll be cleared up with future patches.--74.88.156.250 (talk) 02:56, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

I think the text is just small. I preordered the PS3 version a long time ago, but was able to try out the Trial on X1. The only differences are of course the details of the graphics. The Frostbite 3 engine makes the dialogue look weird, but I haven't noticed any major lip sinking issues. You will not get the in-depth textures, but the game flows well for last gen. This was the same issue with AC: Black Flag, or COD: Ghost, it wont support a higher frame-rate, or load in all textures, but you will still get the same items, environment and gameplay options. So less shiny customization (seriously I thought my eyes would bleed when I put a beard on my Human Male or a Dwarf Female). Sir Fritz (talk) 19:07, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

Bioware did a poorly work on the last- gen consoles version. I am sure that they could make the game run with better terrain textures, and the bugs are everywhere and its really sad. But that is not what they want. They want people to buy the next-gen consoles, so they intentionally, or not, are making the last games suck on ps3 and Xbox 360. --Khamayl (talk) 19:40, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

I tried adjusting my tv last night so that the screen is in it's 'zoom' setting, and the game looks much better. I've only played the prologue though, so I can't tell if there are major bugs or not.--74.88.156.250 (talk) 19:45, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

There are. Even in the prologue. Nothing too bad though. Believe it! (talk) 19:53, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

I just got my game in the mail for the PS3 and I have to say... I'm not impressed. I really don't care too much about the graphics (I've played Shadow Madness and loved it) and I expected it to not be as good as the next Gen stuff. I would have thought the graphics would have been a little better than Origin but, again, I'm not super bothered. What DOES urk me to no end is all the BUGS! The thing is just terrible! I'm not even talking about the load time or the tiny text (which is annoying but not ground breaking). Things like frozen characters and glitching cut-scenes is just poor work on Bioware's part.

The funny thing is, the PC version is pretty bad too. A friend of mine got his on the PC and between the awkward controls and the random screen freezes... yeah...

I'm still going to play it and hopefully bioware will set out a few bug patches in the next few weeks. One person Suggested turning off the internet connection after you set your world state. Apparently, doing so will help with some of the glitchyness.DhampireHEK (talk) 03:08, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

I can understand the graphical limitations of last-gen consoles, but I'd appreciate it if they at least patched it so the characters faces didn't look so off during cutscenes.--74.88.156.250 (talk) 05:15, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

I think I might have figured out how to at least reduce some of the graphical glitches and improve the overall performance. First is to make sure all of the TV settings are set for game mode (like turn off noise reduction, motion compensation, etc.) and to use game settings.Another point is to make sure you're using the brightness/backlight setting via the TV and NOT the slider thing in the game (it makes a HUGE difference). For last gen it also seems to help if you turn off things like persistent gore and floating damage as it takes less resourses. I found this helped make things look and act much better for my game. Mind you, there are still glitches like clothing cutting into things but I hope this helps! DhampireHEK (talk) 18:43, November 22, 2014 (UTC)

The 360/PS3 versions have all the graphic settings on low. Fade rifts are pixels in the distance and people have low resolution faces. I remember seeing that one woman in the Prologue with blocky armour and dying a little inside. Immediately purchased Origin version and I returned the 360 version. Kept the box of goodies though!
