So, for those who have names picked out, what do you plan on naming your PC(s) in Inquisition? And, if you want to share more, what have you named your past protagonists? Right now, I'm not exactly sure what I'll be naming any of my Inquisitors! Though, I imagine my first one will be a female Dalish mage, but that's about it. How about you? Lavellan
I usually go with the default names for the first time, so for example, my first Human Male will have the default name, and then if I make a second Human male later, I will come up with something new for that. --CountSilvershroud (talk) 00:00, October 3, 2014 (UTC)
My Qunari Archer Rogue will be named... Scout. Reference to both To Kill a Mockingbird AND Qunari "Profession as name" practices? Too difficult for me to pass up. :)

Whatever the default name is I don't ever change my characters names in RPG's. I never understood the reasons for the name change. Sure, you can change it to your name, or something else original but I've never felt the need to. NwolC

For my "canon" runs, my Warden was Luciel Tabris (City Elf), the Champion was Mierin Hawke, and my Inquisitor will be Lierre Lavellan (Elf) (all female rogues). For my secondary runs, I have a myriad of Wardens/Hawkes so I won't bother to list them all. I plan to play Qunari and Dwarf inquisitors second and third, or maybe at the same time, and over the course of my first playthrough I'll think up a proper Qunari-sounding name for the Qunari --TheEnviousWrath (talk) 15:55, October 3, 2014 (UTC)

My first playthrough will be a male Qunari Two-Handed Warrior, named Anaan (or "Victory" as in Anaan Esaam Qun). My canon playthrough, however, will be a male Human Mage named Tylus, after the Nevarran Hero from the Fourth Blight. My Hawke: Shimo (Human (Obviously) Warrior (Can't remember the specializations. Played on PC, so I modded in frost magic for him. Will be replaying on PS3 to line up the canons after I finish Awakening/Witch Hunt, though with the same setup.)
My Inquisitor: Shimo (Qunari Mage - Knight Enchanter, with a specialization in frost magic)

i've got six canon story line one for a good/evil of each class : my first line is my queen : female HN warrior sword and shield called : eldrissa the champion that follow her also a female warrior sword and shield her name is mariska and the inquisitor that will succeed them also a female human warior sword and shield will be eldrika my second canon line or what i call my evil mage ( all will be human male mage the first two were blood-mage the last one will be necromancer ) : my warden was called drakon my champion was melkior and my inquisitor will be named deathlan my third canon line or what i call my good rogue ( 1: dalish male rogue archer 2: human male rogue archer ( obviously ) amd 3: dalish male rogue archer ) and there name : 1. tasmin 2. gabriel 3. tasalan i'll have to check my save file for my fourth canon line or what i call my "evil warrior" names ( but all are male 2H the first two are human the last one will be qunari ) for my fifth canon line or what i call my "good mage" ( all are female elve except for hawk of course ) first name : lumiel, second name gloriana, third name luminiel my six and final canon line or my "evil rogue" ( all will be female dual-wielding rogue ) first one is a city elve called lethal-lea my hawk name is viper-anna and my third will be a qunari called shadow-mist DragonInquisitor (talk) 18:47, November 2, 2014 (UTC)
I'll typically name my primary character, the one that is supposed to be how I would act, Konar. However, that name is held by the Warden so I need a new name for the Inquisitor...probably going with Marcus. I think faaar too long on my characters names but my warden's name was Beathon Cousland, a solid scottish name like Fergus and Bryce, and my Hawke's name was Malcolm Hawke, equal parts awesome because it was his fathers name and it would probably tick carver off lol and finally to answer the question my Inquisitor will be named Gerard Trevelyan, slighty french just as Ostwick slightly imitates orlais and pretty scottish like ferelden because... just because. 173.18.239.58 (talk) 02:47, November 3, 2014 (UTC)
My first Inquisitor will be named Honour Trevelyan (rogue), though I'm also excited to play my female elf named Idris Lavellan (mage). Honour's Hawke and Warden are Illyria Cousland (rogue) and Zara Hawke (mage) and Idris's are Delphine Tabris (rogue) and Lynette Hawke (rogue). I have other Inquisitors lined up. Averill Lavellan (male rogue) whose Warden was Carrow Mahariel (rogue) with Desmond Hawke (warrior). Keya Adaar (female mage) has Sophronia Amell and Iolanthe Hawke (both mages). Petra Cadash (female warrior?) has Eisa Aeducan (warrior) and Phyllida Hawke (rogue). Anton Cadash (male rogue) had Herk Brosca (rogue) and Hayden Hawke (mage). Reason Trevelyan (male warrior), has William Cousland (warrior) and Tanner Hawke (rogue). Lia Amell (Shapeshifter, Blood Mage and Battlemage) --> Nicola Hawke (Diplomatic Blood/Force Mage) --> Lorelei Lavellen (Mage, probably will specialize to Rift Mage)
