(mild JoH spoilers ahead)

Some trees in Thedas are able to grow way bigger than in our world (bigger even than our sequoias it seems), and we've seen quite a few of them in Emerald Graves. However, the tree that seems to be sitting at (or at least near) the very center of Temple Of Mythal dwarfs them all.... and curiously, there's a similar tree in Frostback Basin.

This thing in JoH is HUGE as well and seems to be sitting at the very highest point of the region (the huge roots we see nearly everywhere might even belong to it), yet the closest we can get to it is near Nigel's Point. It's location also suggests that it's growing very near - if not right above - the temple/fortress where Hakkon has been sealed away.

I have no idea what this might mean, but considering that there are vestiges of tree worship among elves (vhenadahl; some mentions of trees in their myths, like Andruil's "Way of Three Trees") kinda makes me wonder how it can be either tied to elvhen religion or views on the world... and what does it mean in general, I mean - Hakkon was an Avvar God and all Avvar gods are -supposedly- nothing more than a powerful spirit, so why is such tree there?

Dunno, really. I don't want to create any crackpot theory about it, but I upload this to see if anyone has been wondering about it as well. (([User:MidnightTea7|MidnightTea7]])
