Wake up, old god

What would happen if one of the old gods woke up without the help of the darkspawn. What do you think it would do? Now think for a moment. It is not tainted, it is no Archdemon. Think of what it could do for Thedas to have an untainted old god.
Let the ideas flow. 203.45.127.20 (talk) 03:17, July 12, 2012 (UTC)Darkside
Practically- I think it would wake up and then become tainted because it encountered darkspawn while trying to leave the deep roads, so it would still become an archdemon and try to destroy the world.
Assuming it doesn't get tainted trying to escape, I still can't really imagine it doing anything good. Maybe going on a rampage High Dragon style to announce its splendor has returned. ----Isolationistmagi 03:55, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
Ha, maybe it will fly to Tevinter and restore the once powerful empire under the command of the old god. A new dawn for the Tevinter empire that's what will happen, I mean the empire worshiped the old gods before and will again if one returned untainted. 203.45.127.20 (talk) 04:18, July 12, 2012 (UTC)Darkside
Who's knows? If it does happen, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it could shapeshift and became some sort of Anti-Flemeth. Avg Man (talk) 04:20, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
It will look around, swear a couple of times. Then go back to bed. GreyWolf84 (talk) 05:20, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
That sounds like something my grandmother would do...--Shaerala (talk) 01:20, July 14, 2012 (UTC)
I reckon it will become a Witch of the Wilds and spend all of the rest of its life raising daughters to become Witches, so they can search for the other Old God and free it. Oh wait ... Eggy2504 (talk) 07:01, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
He wakes up, and is greeted by the Maker. Maker says, "you have choice, more than you know".
Seriously though, I don't know if it's the sleeping that is preventing the god from escaping underground or that it is underground and it needs the darkspawn to dig him out. However - after all, The Architect managed to wake one up, but he was carrying taint. The question remains if one who isn't tainted could actually wake the dragon. It will wake up and have to choose. Will it be corrupted by a blue darkspawn, a green darkspawn, or a red darkspawn. But no matter what it chooses the results will be the same except for very minor changes.GreyWolf84 (talk) 21:58, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
- There's pretty much no escape from that joke nowadays, is there? Haha. EzzyD (talk) 13:46, July 14, 2012 (UTC)
He can refuse and go back to sleep :D
That joke will never die. I will not allow it. It will forever live as a message to BioWare that we are not idiots. GreyWolf84 (talk) 05:38, July 15, 2012 (UTC)
Someone care to explain the Red, blue and Green darkspawn joke to me plz.And would a old god actually be able to be tainted by a grey warden, since well they carry the taint too.Phoenix96 (talk) 12:12, July 15, 2012 (UTC)
- Mass Effect 3's ending involved making a red choice, green choice, or a blue choice (sort of like the convo wheelie), but unfortunately no matter what you did, the ending was the same. It was very upsetting (imagine Bioware going "oops, you know all those choices you agonised over in DAO? Well, they don't matter, the Blight ran over Thedas anyway).
- As for the "what would happen" query, consider this: it is said that Dumat was actually the one who taught the Tevinters blood magic and the how-to to enter the Golden City. I don't think the Old Gods were exactly the benevolent, kind, forgiving beings. Its power might be great, but I doubt the untainted ones are exactly beneficial to the mortals anyway. -

Have you ever played Mass Effect 3 ?!! - Darthportus
No i haven't cos according to everyone it's even more crappier than DA2. Plus i'm not really in the mood for anymore of bioware/EA's shit.Good joke by the way!
And i was asking if the grey warden's found the old god before the darkspawn, would them being tainted already corrupt the old god?
In fact would the old god baby just turn into a 'human' archedemon if corrupted?Phoenix96 (talk) 16:15, July 15, 2012 (UTC)
