SPOILER alert for those who haven't reached Act 3 yet or are not close to the final battle:
In the aftermath of Ander's attack I decided to spare him as my Hawke was romancing him and sided w/ mages. Everything went smoothly, w/ killing the Templars and Fade creatures. In the Gallows, after speaking to each and every one of my companions and Orsino, there was a cutscene & we started fighting w/ the templars. Another cutscene and Orsino transforming into that abomination - everything pretty normal up to this part, right?
My Hawke and companions were fighting him & we went to the point of the battle where the head detached itself from the body and Undead begun attacking. Somewhere around this point a lonely Templar w/ approx. 60% of health appeared on the other side of that magic fire barrier. With Orsino slayed, only his body remained. I was hoping for some loot, but no such luck. Went up to that templar, killed him w/ two blows but I still can't exit the area where my Hawke and all of his companions are trapped by magic fire barrier. I'm not sure if the game is registering that Orsino is dead & am not even sure I've slayed the head properly but it never appeared again after the second time.
Am pretty sure it's a bug, but obviously not 100% sure. Maybe am doing something wrong? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
I had a similiar problem, if you are playing on PC, enable the console and use the runscript killallhostiles command, and then that should bring Orsino back, allowing you to finish the fight. If not load from a previous save and try again. Scribed23 (talk) 09:13, March 31, 2011 (UTC)
I was playing the console and also came across this bug. Nothing happens and your just standing around? Well on my one Isabela somehow fell off the battlefield .I went over to where she fell off and the enemies start respawning again fixing the bug. . . I didnt get Isabela back until the 'final' fight.Hope this helps.Dragon Reborn (talk) 17:37, March 31, 2011 (UTC)
