Yo guys I wanna try a mage with the Spirit healer tree on nightmare and party of me , Fenris , Varric and a wildcard ( Sebastian/Merril/Aveline) but no Anders, so what other talents to use? I was thinking something like a Blood Mage/Spirit healer + Entropy tree and have a party of 2 range rogues plus Fenris. I don't want another melee character in the team, because Fenris is a beast team killer. When I was doing a DW rogue and took him on a mission he could one-shot kill my PC with Mighty blow or Tornado. So will this be any good for nightmare? I am open to other suggestions?

I used Spirit healer/Force mage, but I always had Anders as a damager and an offhealer in my party.

I prefer to add a bit of Primal for Petrify, and Elemental for WG/CoC. Lets the healer do double duty as CC. Barrier and Mind Blast in Arcane, and Dispel in Spirit, can also be exceptionally useful.

Blood Mage+Spirit Healer is never going to work because you can't use the required auras at the same time. Either of those pretty much has to be combined with Force Mage. Kestrella (talk) 20:57, February 20, 2012 (UTC)
