I would like to ask of those who ( like me ) have purchased a version of the game that give access to the flame of the inquisition dlc : is it truly that weak ? Or am i missing something ? The sample we obtain after awakening in haven are barely stronger then the stuff the game give you at the beginning and quickly become obsolete with the loot found on creature and in chest and even when we gain access to skyhold undercroft and pick up the schematic to make your own version ( and even with the best crafting resourse ) they can barely keep up with the stuff you already have by that point in the game it's the same thing with the superb version schematic obtained at the same place later in the game but what's really worst for me is unless i'm misstaken you cant graft any upgrade ( or at least i cant ) to the armor and weapons so my question is : what's the point of a dlc that's for all intend and purpose useless ? I had noticed that too. I always replace the stuff long before I leave Haven. The only things I like from the Deluxe Edition are the mounts. The Red Lyrium weapons are decent, and they are free, but you don't get those until late in the game. Which is disappointing. GableDan87 (talk) 19:20, December 12, 2014 (UTC)

They are useful in tricking people into buying the game early for $64 instead of right now for $40. Believe it! (talk) 19:29, December 12, 2014 (UTC)

That's how most pre-order weapons are like. Decent at the very start of the game, but quickly become obsolete. You can obtain schematics for crafting those weapons and can help make them better, but there are better ones. --Scotiej (talk) 20:01, December 12, 2014 (UTC)

Suberb versions are the only useful. But it depends... If you do missions early it is possibly the only tier3 you will have for a looooong time. If you like me in this current save decided to leave high level areas for end game then they are useful, very much indeed... otherwise they are useless. But they are beautiful? LOL xD Raoniluna (talk) 21:06, December 12, 2014 (UTC)
