I would like to see a Saarebas companion, I think having your own Qunari mage would be cool. I would like to have more dwarven companions aswell. Well that's all I can think of so far. What companions would you like to have in your party in DA3?203.45.127.20 (talk) 05:49, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

I'd like to have a Dalish warrior or hunter, who's clan was enslaved and (s)he does all what's possible to find own clanmates. This char would be a on of points to destroy Tevinter. Unsigned

Hmm...I think I would like a completely new set of companions. Don't get me wrong, I loved the old ones of both games, but I feel their stories are somewhat done (for me that is) and I would like to see new faces, hear new stories and backgrounds. It would be interesting to have a Kossith female in the party. Maybe one who is not following the Qun, but not necessarily Tal Vashoth either. I also think it could be interesting if another race is dominant than humans, for example there are more elven or dwarven companions.

That's all I can think of right now :)--AnjaHaSch (talk) 12:45, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

Didn't we just have a topic like this? In any case, I'd like to see a Disciple join us, simply because they'd be such a "carte blanche", it would be interesting to see them evolve as a character. RomeoReject (talk) 20:33, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

hmmm,a darkspawn companion, just watch everyone run and fetch the torches and pitchforks. Shortly followed by the grey wardens. But i agree with more elven and dwarven companions, too many humans, e.g origins+awkaening: 8 human companions, 3 elves, 4 dwarves ,1 qunari, 1 possesed corpse, a mabari hound And 2 Golem (i'm counting witch hunt and the golems DLCs)
Dragon age 2: 5 humans, 1 dwarf, and 2 elves, oh and a possesed mage/healer/terrorist.Phoenix96 (talk) 21:13, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

Hmmm, I was thinking of a blood thirsty reaver who has a hatred of elves. 203.45.127.20 (talk) 04:08, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

This sounds ridiculous, but I'd like a tranquil character in the party. In one mod for DAO (Alley of Murders) there's a tranquil tasked with working against the blight who arranges for two Templars who have `commandeered` him to be murdered so he can carry on with his task. You can have a tranquil who's more than a walking enchantment box - they can't feel, and obey orders without question, but they can think. And though they can't use magic, there's no reason a tranquil couldn't be trained as a warrior or rogue... TheTeaMustFlow (talk) 06:49, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

Oh my god, Assassin Tranquil would be THE BEST. Emotionless killer, defined. I hope they continue the same idea they had in Dragon Age II's perk trees, and let there be character-specific trees. I can only imagine what a Tranquil's would look like.

Again, awesome idea in my opinion, TeaMustFlow. RomeoReject (talk) 07:17, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

I actually have a list, but the number 1 person I want as a Companion in DA3 is Carroll the Templar/ Queen of Antiva.--Dalish bard (talk) 17:10, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

I feel Connor or his younger sister would be a good companion, they are both mages so the only difference between them would be their personalities and back-stories. --71.61.15.37 (talk) 18:44, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

A dragon companion who I can feed elves to. 203.45.127.20 (talk) 00:54, May 31, 2012 (UTC)

Tevinter Mage with a heart of gold devoted to the Imperial Chantry perhaps and who could shed a bit more light on the Tevinter culture (Preferably a human or at least someone who isn't a slave and won't spend the entire game brooding) Silent 1 (talk) 05:52, May 31, 2012 (UTC)

lol! Thats fenris in a nut shell. Yes a Tevinter mage would be cool.203.45.127.20 (talk) 05:55, May 31, 2012 (UTC)

Another silly idea: a female Kossith Mage who's family left Seheron a while ago. Generally hates Qunari (on point of them wanting to hunt her down and murder or Saarebas-ise her, completely 180 degrees from most other Kossith (emotional and petty, instead of stoic and focused), and tends to eviscerate people for calling her a Qunari. And for added hilarity, a hardline orthodox Chantry Supporter (like Wynne or Seb). It'd be a good excuse for a female kossith to finally appear, and 'twould be most amusing. Thoughts? Depending on whatever plot they choose to give us, I would like to see: a Tevinter magister if there is any involvement with the imperium, a Tal Vashoth if there is more Quanri involvement, a seeker a circle mage and a templar if the mage-templar war continues, an Orlesian chevalier if we get into their politics, a grey warden/intelligent darkspawn depending on player choices because its DA and you have to, and dog. MrRabbitSir (talk) 17:48, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

In my opinion I think they would take characters with importance to the story like a grey warden, a seeker, a tevinter mage, an elven hunter/keeper, and most likely a Kossith warrior/saarebas. These would fit more into the story around the mage-templar war and the events around it like about the Architect and the Seekers of Truth looking for Hawke and the Warden. I wouldn't mind having Oghren return as a Companion to help find the Warden with Cassandra. Of course we would not be playing as her. We would be able to choose our character Human, Elf, or Dwarf. Choose a class and Origin story. Since DA: III will most likely take place in Orlais we could play as a Human Noble or just a Human peasant that is a guard that impresses Cassandra and is asked to join her. Either way she asks you to join her on her perilous journey to find the warden because is out of Reach. Now the reason why Oghren is a companion because in the DA" A epilogue it said he left his wife and kid. Use that a story since he is a grey warden and wants to fight alongside his best friend which is the Warden.

If we get to play as our own Warden once more Cassandra could be attacked by what Is left of the Chantry and templars and use teh right of conscription to have her join the wardens which keeps the chantry and templars off their backs. ~Drake Cousland

I would think Cassandra is a given. Someone from Tevinter would be excellent, as long as they were given more characterization than "I'm an evil D-bag from Tevinter. Nya ha ha." I would like to see a Middle-of-the-Road Mage (although that might not be possible given the probability of a Mage/Templar war storyline). The personalities of the mages we've recrutited thus far have been pretty extreme. I would like to see someone more like Finn (or actually Finn). Someone more mellow and in between "The Circle is wonderful!!!!!!" and "OMG the Chantry must die!!!!!!" Both Dalish mages we've had as playable characters have been throw-controller-at-screen awful, so I hope they steer away from that. In fact, I would be happy if they just made an elf party member I didn't hate. Sketch is the only elf party member that I even remotely liked. Arianne is next, but she's still far off.
