My warden was affected by the grease status that would not go away. I have read that if this happens to another of your characters you can simply talk to them to get rid of the grease, but if the affected character is the warden, this will not work. I assume dispel magic would work as well, but I did not have it. I was able to get rid of the grease by using the grease spell on the floor ahead of me, then walking into the grease, then setting the grease on fire.
