Flemeth, theory on a well thought out plan.

I have a theory on what Flemeth's true intent is with sending Morrigan with the Warden in DA:O. Thia only applies if you did the dark ritual.
If Flemeth wants to use a daughter to extend her own life, then she must get them up to par with her abilities. An Old God would, as you would expect, be far more powerful then even Flemeth. When you perform the ritual with Morrigan the babies gender is still undecided until it turns into an Old God. Following DA lore, all Winged dragons, or High Dragons, are female, therefore all of the Old Gods were female dragons. when the baby becomes an old god while still developing it should automatically be turned female giving Morrigan a Daughter.
I believe that Flemeth intends on finishing what she started by obviously possessing Morrigan. By extension, doing so will give Flemeth a new daughter. An Old God daughter. Flemeth would then take possession of the more powerful Old God daughter she has, making herself a powerful Old God.
Any thoughts on this wild theory? --Warden0276 (talk) 07:50, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
I personally think that Flemeth is ALREADY a God (one of the Forgotten Ones), so that wouldn't really work. I mean, if her current body gets killed, she can just possess someone else WITHOUT having to go to the Fade and doing from there, like all demons. The Old Gods are the only ones that can do that (Corypheus might also be capable of that, but he received so much power from Dumat that there would be nothing surprising about that. 4Ferelden (talk) 08:09, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
That will not work. One the OG babies gender is male as stated in Witch Hunt. But you do have a point that the DA lore dose state, all Winged dragons, or High Dragons, are female. Maybe the Old god are not really dragons or not the same type of Dragon that is found commonly in Thedas. Oh well it is yet to be seen or explained --Wardan Hellkite (talk) 08:35, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
- Well you obviusly didn't investigate the nature of the "old gods" or archdemons as they are also called. they are all male, in direct contrast to the female only high dragons. this indicate that they are not dragons or at least, not the kind of dragons that presently roam in Thedas. It is made purposefully diffuse to make us wonder what the archdemons or "old gods" actually are or were. Besides that, there are a lot of theories and speculations on what Flemmet is, and very little fact.
- All we know is that she is powerful, seemingly able to cheat death, and that darkspawn avoid her for some reason.-rphb- (talk) 08:45, May 18, 2012 (UTC)
Yavana said Flemeth made a deal with Maric, that he'll use his blood to help Y in reviving an ancient dragon. In Drake's fall are some dragon sceletons as big as archdemons. If Morrigan knew her ritual can work, it should be tested long ago. Dumat was slain by 1st GW, Garahel killed Andoral paying ultimate price fo this. Flemeth can be Zazikel or Toth, if w support theory she's an archdemon child. Or maybe the ritual has connection ith dragons and archdemons are dragons as well. Flemeth can be a human with powers of magical dragon.
Ah ok, thanks for telling me the baby was a male, I never played Witch Hunt and didnt know. And I assumed the Old Gods were female as any codex entries into them didnt state otherwise, or I just didnt notice. --Warden0276 (talk) 03:26, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
If you check the page on Urthemiel(The Archdemon), it says that he was the god of beauty, so the gender of each specific Old God would probably determine the gender of the baby conceived in the dark ritual.Sweebkotorbeast (talk) 04:30, May 19, 2012 (UTC)
