My idea for a dragon age game. the war between the mages and templars continues a secret orginizaton within the devine has been created known as the Crusaders chosen templars enfused with a demon spirit to keep the demon in check it is trapped within a primeval lyrium orb where only injections of raw lyrium keep it in check. the crusader recives speed agility healing factor the ability to talk to the dead higher magic resistance and force mage abilities making them the perfect weapon against mages and demon hunting. however if the crusader does not receive his injectons the orb will slowly crack allowing demon essence to seep out giving the crusader horrific delusions and paranoia eventually leading to the demon taking full control and stronger than ever. as one of them you one of the main objective in the game is your choices light side being the best choices to hold on to your humanity or dark choices which result into the demon slowly taking you over you get flashes of horrible things happening the demon talking to you taking over your players choices mid battle sometime signifying how your loosing control leading up to an ending of the demon taking over completely... thats all i have so far what do you think
Using a demon goes strongly against the Templar's motif. And even if it was held in check by lyrium means, Merideth proves it can't be controlled forever, even in an already powerful Templar. You're thinking of a modified version of the Spirit Guardian from DAA; something less defensive, more aggressive; with the first talent being able to sniff out blood mages. This would be like elite Templar class, as he wouldn't have to assume every mage is blood mage; still be fucking scary for the mage confronted, but then imagine, the Templar snorts, and goes on his way. How about a talent which can literally rip the demon from the mage in question, think in terms of Fenris' Ghost Hand; leaving the mage unconscious but alive, as you proceed to vanquish on the demon, then collect the mage to bring back to the circle.
