I'd like to draw your attention on something I recently noticed. You can see my first post on that topic here.
In short: XY Greatly (Dis)Approves may have two different values, ±10 and ±20. These are given inconsistently and are depending on a combination of event and companion.
This could easily be recorded on each companion's own approval subpage, but I think it looks bad if the approval section in certain articles, for example Champions of the Just, will be changed to contain the different values. I thought it a great advancement that Dragon Age: Inquisition didn't have to list numerical values anymore – remember the editing chaos for Dragon Age II.
But now? I mean, compare this:
- Current
- Rebuild as our partners. (Ask the templars to join you as free allies)
- Blackwall Approves
- Cassandra Greatly Approves
- Iron Bull Greatly Approves
- Sera Greatly Disapproves
- Solas Greatly Disapproves
- Varric Slightly Approves (only if he was brought for the quest)
- Vivienne Approves
- Cole Greatly Disapproves (occurs even if he's not yet recruited and not stated in-game)
- Dorian Greatly Disapproves (occurs even if he's not yet recruited and not stated in-game)
- With values
- Rebuild as our partners. (Ask the templars to join you as free allies)
- Blackwall Approves
- Cassandra Greatly Approves (+20)
- Iron Bull Greatly Approves (+20)
- Sera Greatly Disapproves (-10)
- Solas Greatly Disapproves (-20)
- Varric Slightly Approves (only if he was brought for the quest)
- Vivienne Approves
- Cole Greatly Disapproves (-10) (occurs even if he's not yet recruited and not stated in-game)
- Dorian Greatly Disapproves (-10) (occurs even if he's not yet recruited and not stated in-game)

- I like this proposal and I think only changing those that have variation works for me to reduce clutter and I do think it should be on both quest and approval pages as a player is likely to go to either one. DaBarkspawn (talk) 14:48, July 5, 2017 (UTC)
