it's a simple question yet one that i feel need to be posed ( ask ? sorry english is not my first language ) after being a member of this wiki for almost two month i've come across many fantastic ( and some not so fantastic ) idea but i cannot help myself thinking does any of this actualy reach the eyes and mind of the DAI creative staff or are we all metaphoricly speaking to the cyber-wind of the web-land ? Absolutely, I don't know if they check it massively or if they use it for anything but I'm fairly certain they know of it's existance, I don't have any proof but I just think it'd be an impossibility to not know if a fair sizeable wiki exists of your franchise. The community feedback alone is a reason to assume they check --TheRageMage (talk) 15:39, April 24, 2014 (UTC)TheRageMage

A few years back someone asked this to some devs at Bioware on BSN. I can't recall who responded, but the answer was yes, they do. Probably not all of them, and I doubt any have say joined or responded as I don't think EA would be ok with them responding or participating on a medium not controlled by EA, but you can be sure there is still at minimum a somewhat periodic review of what's here. David Gaider commented about the Elven language article a few years back, when people were trying to figure out translations. --Kelcat (talk) 00:28, April 25, 2014 (UTC)

I know for a fact that they do know about it. Believe it! (talk) 16:20, April 24, 2014 (UTC)

I know that Gaider himself as referred to this wiki multiple times with both good and bad experiences. The Dread Wolf 17:58, April 24, 2014 (UTC)

I remember they once linked to Cassandra's article around the time DotS came out, so people refreshed their memories. But as for the forums where we post our ideas about the game, I really doubt it. They have their own. Henio0 (talk) 18:06, April 24, 2014 (UTC)

The BSN is incredibly insular, amongst other things. They can't be relying on that for everything. Though if they are it would certainly explain some things...The Grey Unknown (talk) 19:56, April 24, 2014 (UTC)

I'd say they use/check the wiki as a reference tool, but I doubt they keep up on the forum here. - Wandrew (talk) 00:31, April 25, 2014 (UTC)

they should use this wiki ,theyd find out more what the fans think/like about theyre games which would help them iimprove the games

I'd say they would probably avoid this place like the plague, barring the occasional check for legal reasons (to see no copyrights are being infringed upon and such). BSN provides a much more 'brown-nosing' effect that they enjoy over anything we get here. Additionally, them listening to only what comes up on BSN would make a lot of sense to the direction of the series; since dissenters over there can simply be removed easily and this filter it down to only the feedback they want. EzzyD (talk) 02:54, April 25, 2014 (UTC)

Nice story EzzyD. Anyone who'd never actually gone to the BSN would be convinced.

Seriously have you been over there? "brown-nosing"? That place has eight melt downs a day and threatens the development team if romance is even mentioned. Hell half the developers have mentioned the "toxic environment" of BSN and the phrase "avoid it like the plague" in reference to it. Not to mention the legion of serial trolls who still haven't been banned and have been around for years complaining about anything and everything since before Origins was released. I guess they're a bit more lenient now? Or are we meant to be the dissenters? Have you read the comments section here? It's not exactly constructive criticism.

Don't let reality get in the way of your story though. Tell us more about how if only Bioware listened to you personally the series would be so much better. We're all dying to hear it.-120.149.113.197 (talk) 03:08, April 25, 2014 (UTC)

Yeah the BSN is a NIGHTMARE!!!!! Those people are psychopaths! I don't know what kind of nice feedback you think theyre getting from those whackos.-VampireBlood03 (talk) 03:52, April 25, 2014 (UTC)
Ha ha, I was a part of the BSN back when Knights of the Old Republic was a new game. Times have hanged. Anyways back on topic, yes they do know about it. I don't know how much attention they pay to it, but they are aware of its existence. 67.61.234.198 (talk) 04:13, April 25, 2014 (UTC)
Am I lucky that I found a thread on BSN that has nice people to talk to? 64.90.137.2 (talk) 14:09, April 25, 2014 (UTC)
Nah. BSN is like any other internet community. It has its garbage, and its jewels. There's plenty of perfectly nice/reasonable people there. They're just not as noticeable as the loud negative ones. 67.61.234.198 (talk) 17:58, April 25, 2014 (UTC)

They've linked to here before so they must know about it?
