So I bought the DAA and DA2 disks ps3ps3 without realizing I hadn't actually grabbed the first game, oh well. So later I bought the DAO download; 12 bloody hours to install, 70 hours of play... Now I still can't play DAA without installing my DAO "disk" which I don't have... DA2 works fine with the download though, what gives? Shadizar666 (talk) 23:19, August 3, 2012 (UTC)

That seems odd. As long as you had an Origins file on your PS3 (not a save game, the game data file itself), I don't see why Awakening wouldn't install. I'd recommend contacting Sony (my experiences with their customer support have been excellent), explaining the issue, giving them the Awakening CD key (it should be on the back of the manual or a separate piece of paper) and seeing if they'll allow you to download Awakening free. However, it may be more likely that you just have a defective download. Before you contact Sony, I'd try getting your money back from Playstation for Origins, which has worked for others with this problem (or you could return both and buy the Ultimate Edition which features Origins, Awakening and all the DLC fairly cheaply).
