WARNING! SPOILERS BELOW!

I'm not sure if this qualifies as an "Easter Egg" or not, but I couldn't think of another title for this that didn't spoil the ending. Anyway, after the credits I talked to Cole, left Skyhold, then came back and talked to him again. I expected him to just say hi like everyone else, but instead he started reciting what was probably Solas's last words to him. Apparently Solas realized that Cole might read his mind and figure out what he was going to do, so he told Cole that he was going on a long "solitary" journey and that he wouldn't wish it on his worst enemy but it was necessary - or something to that effect. Then he tells Cole to forget (Solas can do that too?) and Cole stops talking and asks the Inquisitor what they were doing there.

Has anyone else discovered this? It's probably worth noting that this Cole was made more "spirit-like", so the same thing might not happen to a "human" Cole. Silver Warden (talk) 05:31, July 22, 2015 (UTC)

I got that too. Walked up to Cole and he started his commentary to my surprise. I let Varric take a more 'human' approach to Cole so it appears to have nothing to do with that decision. Given what we discover about the elven apostate, it comes as no real surprise the Rift Mage would know how to make others forget him, like a spirit. Shenachie (talk) 12:46, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
