As we can see, there are other lands and civilizations beyond the maps we have access to... Do you guys, honestly, think that we will see those??? only hear and especulate about them??? Or an in between option that is just vaguely explaining them on future codex entries??? PS: I´ve looked at the Beyon Thedas part of the Tedas artivle in the wiki and can someone say where are those information from? like the sunless lands and those voshai guys... It's from Dragon Age: The World of Thedas Volume 2. Asherinka (talk) 03:09, February 4, 2016 (UTC)

I think eventually we will see some of them. With each game they have opened up more of the world. In DA1 we only saw Ferelden. In DA2 we saw Kirkwall and in DA3 we got to see Orlis. So I feel that following that tradition they might show one new country per installment.

I think it's pretty improbable that we'll actually visit the lands beyond Thedas in DA4. We're clearly going to the Imperium, which may also mean trips to Seheron and Par Vollen. The Anderfels are also a possibility, depending on how much Bioware want to follow up on the hanging Grey Warden-related plot threads (the return of the griffons, the apparent schism in the order, the possible connection of the Old Gods/archdemons to the Evanuris). That said, I think there's a strong possibility of meeting (and maybe allying with) one of "those across the sea" or one of their representatives. It's a plot thread that was added in Inquisition, but was super-easy to miss if you didn't read those war table messages closely. Luper567 (talk) 14:37, February 4, 2016 (UTC)

It's definitely cool to think about what kind of lands we'll visit in the future installments. It's pretty obvious, however, that the next place we'll be going to is Tevintar, thanks to trespasser. I wonder how they'll do it? -Deltawarden1873 (talk)

Nope. Well, unless you count the fade. Thedas is the Dragon Age setting. That implies that anything outside of Thedas isn't. That being said, we've only seen about half the continent so far. There's still Tevinter, Neverra, Antiva, Rivain, the Anderfels, Seheron, and Par Vollen left to explore, and that's just the surface. Kal-Sharok and other thaigs or portions of the deep road are on the table. That's enough for two more games, at least. Silver Warden (talk) 19:06, February 4, 2016 (UTC)

The HoF travels in the lands beyond the west of Orlais in their investigations about neutralize the Calling. The Qunari and the Humans comes beyond north of Thedas. --Virrac (talk) 19:13, February 4, 2016 (UTC)

Which means what, exactly? I meant that the games will only take place within Thedas, not that nothing exists beyond it. Silver Warden (talk) 23:40, February 5, 2016 (UTC)

It's been well suggested that there are places west of Orlais, north of Seheron, and by logic, the other side of the Amaranthine Ocean (I think south of the Korcari Wilds is cold wilderness before reaching the South Pole, but I could be wrong). As for Thedas - Dragon Age Setting... Well, I guess we could explore further out once 9:99 Dragon comes to a close. ;) DAWUSS (talk) 02:50, February 6, 2016 (UTC)
