Have anyone in thedas seen an old god untainted? Can there be an Archdemon non draconic? I know that the Archdemons are tainted Old Gods, but do they look the same??? Archon123 (talk) 17:36, October 7, 2014 (UTC)

I think someone who has "The World of Thedas" can confirm this. I don't so I'll say what I know. The Archdemon's demons in the book are described as dragons, and when they die, the soul jumps into the nearest tainted creature, and then transforms them into a dragon. It isn't clear whether that is part of the Old gods power, and thus the archdemons, or whether it is they're actual form regardless.

So, no, I don't think there can be a non-draconic Archdemon. As it stands we (maybe just me) don't really know enough to say whether or not Old gods can only appear as dragons, since there are numerous possibilities on what the old gods actually are. But then of course there is the OGB, so it's likely Old Gods can take any form, and its only the taint that forces their Draconic appearance. Hope this helps. According to The World of Thedas, the Old Gods are seven dragon deities. They're never described as anything other than dragons. --Death by Cheese (talk) 17:57, October 7, 2014 (UTC)

There you go Archon. I'll take it as a safe bet that the OGB is a special/unique case. DeakialSig1 18:01, October 7, 2014 (UTC)
