-This is by no means a completed work and I have tried to stay as much from my own theories and speculation as possible and kept to events dated.(following the Chantry Calender) I've will return to correct mistake when I find them or have more to add.

Before written time there was already unrest amongst the Elvhen. It's learned during the events of Dragon Age that the Elvhen warred with themselves. The Evanuris fought with the now Forgotten Ones and this caused great upheavals when they became heroes, elders, kings and then Gods over time. Solas gathered the elves and removed their vallaslin gifting them freedom from slavery from the Evanuris. Many joined his cause and he was named Fen'Harel by his opposition. This name he took with pride as it inspired those he wished to free while instilling fear in those who stood against him. When Mythal, an Evanuris who was the greatest of them all in Solas eyes was murdered by her own kind, Solas resigned himself and erected The Veil to protect The People.

-7600 Ancient Age - Arlathan(Elvhenan) rises to power in the years

-4600 The Elvhen come in contact with Dwarves for the first time.

-3100 Based on Elvhen Lore, Humans came first from over Par Vollen in the North of Arlathan.

-3100 Solas places the Veil up and this separating of the worlds, Fade from the Waking world, begins the long and slow destruction of Arlathan and all that was tied to the physics of the Fade. Both physical structures and Elvhen immortality would take hundreds of years to weaken and crumble.

-1195 Tevinter Rises as a Nation of great power and begins to spread over Thedas.

-1195 Darinius seizes the throne of Tevinter.

-981 Tevinter declares war on Arlathan.

-975 Tevinter's war against the Elvhen has reached a pinnicle and is brought to Elvhenans greatest city, Arlathan. The city falls and though history is vague, Tevinter claims that after sacking lesser places and the likes it used blood magic and they city was swallowed up by the earth. The People rather than fight, fled. The exact location of Arlathan is speculative to its namesake forest alone at present. This city stood for six years against the might and fury of The Imperium.

-395 Ancient Tevinter has been enslaving Elves who remain. Time when the 7 Magister's (One Magister for each of the Old Gods) having learned how to enter The Fade assaulted The Golden City. What happened within the Fade is not clear.

The Magisters did leave the Fade in one manner of another however. Their return marked the beginning of the First Blight in Thedas History though it would take years for the Horde to gain enough strength to find an Old God, taint it and rise. While Thedas was being overrun aboveground, the Dwarves fought amongst themselves to protect their own Thaigs. Over decades all but four Dwarven Kingdoms remained. The outer Thaigs and Deep Roads ruined on purpose by Aeducan who was later made a paragon of his people by near unanimous vote. The Thiags to survive were Orzammar, Kal-Sharok, Hormak and Gundaar.

-380 Using the Deep roads and Thaigs won from the Dwarves, darkspawn begin to emerge first around Tevinter. Due to the large dispersal of the Darkspawn horde, Tevinter is unable to combat with effectiveness. The presence of the Horde sucks the very moisture from the places they multiply strongly and the earth turns black and dry. Disease and rot follow soon after. Tevinter falls into unrest as they come to realize they have been abandoned by the Old Gods they served and can no longer hear them. Their Gods had turned against them, Gifts and prayers going unanswered so they begin to second-guess their faith. Far North and East rebellion rises. The Imperium answers by summoning demons and leaving burned corpses behind examples for what happens to those who revolt against them. The disillusioned Citizen of the Imperium managed what dozens of armies could not and Tevinter begins to crumble from within.

-305 The Warden Order is born. Made up of seasoned veterans of Darkspawn battles, made of Elves, Humans and Dwarves that left their allegiances behind them. Their base of operation was built in Weisshaupt in the Anderfels which was a strategic place being as it was not overrun and yet remained close to Tevinter.

With knowledge gleamed from Elves who gave their aid in return that after The Blight was ended the Wardens would move to aid them in becoming equal to their Human and Dwarven counterparts. Using Tevinter Blood magic ritual information and Elvhen skills it was suggested by Nakiri of the Donark Forest to consume Darkspawn blood. Once The Joining was recognized as being paramount in combating the Darkspawn things began to move into better light. With The Joining Ritual completed, those who survived were immune to the Taint and could sense Darkspawn and 'overhear' their unspoken communication. It was learned then that the Darkspawn where motivated my an external force. The Warden lay siege to the Darkspawn Horde on the backs of Griffons and in the chaos the Wardens made a heavy impact on the Darkspawn whom where disoriented and unable to tell the new Warden Order from their own. Their success drew more members from all walks of life and more base rose in precise places of strength.

The Warden's early victory during the First Blight was wrongly celebrated as a group of soldiers from Ander killed Dumat as he fled from the Warden onslaught. When Dumat rose again in perfect health it took years for an answer to come to light. It was suggested that upon the death of an Archdemon, it's soul passed to the closest Darkspawn as they are soulless themselves. But if the Archdemon where to be slain by a Warden the darkspawn blood would call to it. As the Warden's retain their soul, the struggle and paradox of two souls in a single host would kill both souls in the struggle and end Archdemon, Warden and the Blight at once.

-255 The Dwarves learned the skill of Golem Making, their most effective defense against the Darkspawn. But to brig such a creature into existence required the soul of a living dwarf. Volunteers first gave life to the Golems, but these soon were no more and criminals and enemies of The Anvil (Dwarven Rulerish) Caridin, creator of the Golem technique opposed the king and was turned into a Golem himself. Same year the Anvil of the Void was created as its needed for golem making.

-248 Caridin vanished taking the knowledge of the Golem creation with him.

-203 The First Blight which started in -395 is finally ended with the death of the Archdemon Dumat. The army made mostly of Tevinter, Rivaini and Ciriane soldiers successfully killing Dumat at the battle of Silent Plains. 1/3 of the human forces in the army die repulsing the remaining Darkspawn which were no longer united strongly after the death of the Archdemon.

-203 This is also the year Andraste was apparently born in the city of Denerim.

-195 The Horde is fought back and those that remain of the Darkspawn hide underground. For the races of the surface world this is the end of the Blight.

Many things happen afterwards with no date to tell the exact year, but following the end of the First Blight, The Warden Order sign contracts all over Thedas for unity when the next Archdemon rises with a Darkspawn Horde. Years of training, knowledge ensued despite many disbelieving another Horde rising was unlikely. The rite of conscription was signed during these days. Underground however the threat still remained. The Thaigs now separate, elect their own Kings, but serve still under the High King of Orzammar.

Worse yet is the finding of intelligent Darkspawn amongst those who remained. One such creature being Corypheus. He is imprisoned out of fear in the Vimmark Mountains. The worry being that killing him will simply move him to another vacant Darkspawn and be lost.

-185 - The Grand Cathedral in Val Royeaux has begun construction.

-171 - Andraste's army fails to take Minrathous

-170 - Death of Andraste by her Husband, Maferath's machinations. She is burned at the stake and stabbed through the heart with pity by Archon Hessarian.

-165 Shartan the Elf who joined alongside Andraste. He was named her Champion, but after his great deeds all his acts are erased from history aside from a mural which has been defaced. This happens when Elves attack a village years later though he had nothing to do with the events having died. (If in the Dragon Age Leliana becomes Divine, she re-canonizes Shartan into history and Chantry)

-140 - Codex - The Long Walk to Halamshiral

-191 Corypheus is imprisoned in a tower stemming from the Deep Roads within Vimmark Mountains.

1:1 Divine. The Chantry is founded with Andraste's teaches at their core.

1:5 The Second Blight begins in the Anderfels. Zazikel, Old God of Freedom or Chaos is tainted and the Darkspawn Horde rises again. The first battle is won without contest before word arrives to the Wardens. Tevinter retreats into itself to better protect it and the Horde soon moves to the corners of Thedas unstopped. During this time, The Orlesian Emperor Drakon enlists the aid of its mages and gives them full use of their powers against the Darkspawn. This is an essential move in battling the Horde right up till 1:16 Divine.

1:20 Circle of Magi is founded and lead by Grand Enchanter Lothaire Hardouin

1:22-24 Ameridan leaves his position and is not seen again.

1:25 Divine - The Horde however gains no Elf resistance who remain neutral in the Dales which spikes tension between Men and Elves. This is agitated further when the city of Montsimmard is all but destroyed while the Elven Army watches on the sidelines. Had the last Inquisitor of the First Inquisition not been sent away to stop an Avvar cult, he might have as an Elven Mage rallied the Elves to aid them as he believed in and was friends with Drakon, his name was Ameridan. He died subduing the Avvar plan to bind a spirit to a dragon knowing no one would survive a dragon as powerful as Dumat and the Blight.

1:31 The Blight reaches Minrathous, Tevinter Capital and the Imperium is greatly weakened.

1:33 Orlesian armies march Weisshaupt and are so awed that they convert to the Chantry.

1:40 The Alamarri soldier Hafter unites Fereldan tribes to defeat the Darkspawn.

1:45 Drakon dies of old age and succeed by his son.

1:50 Hafter also defeats the Chasind and Avvar who sought to use the Blight in their favor. Hafter is named first teyrn of Alamarri.

1:65 Lacking the skill of his father in politics, The Anderfels declare independence from Kordillius.

1:95 The final battle takes place in Starkhaven with a human army led by the Wardens. The loses are great, but Zazikel falls by the Grey Warden Corin. His lover, a mage and fellow Warden uses her own body to protect Corin from an emissary bolt and dies instantly giving Corin the chance to fell the Archdemon. This ends the Second Blight. The effects of the Horde is slowly becoming clear on the surface and the darkspawn that came from the Abyssal Reach in the Western Approach is greatly changed. The great battle that took place there has scared the Veil making it very thin and the land is now corrupted beyond recovery.

2:21 Sister Amity, Champion of the Exalted Marches lays the foundations stones of a village Chantry.

2:22 The Chantry Amity worked on is completed.

4:30 The most influential Queen in all Thedas is Born. She is the Rivaini-born Asha Subira Bahadur

4:40 The first of four Exalted Marches to remove the Imperium from power begins. Each March made up of large armies gathered from the furthest reach within the Chantry. Each time it fails to claim Minrathous, Tevinter capital. These failed attempts bring the separation of Minrathous and Val Royeaux into permanence. Mages fleeing from Chantry rule in Val Royaeux only increase Tevinter's strength, bolstering the Imperium's waning powers.

4:40 News of the first Exalted Marches has Joffrey write letters to the Chantry of Minrathous speaking his own opinions. He is never answered in kind.

5:10 The last Exalted March fails to take Minrathous.

5:19 finds the Wardens an open way into the deep roads which the darkspawn have been using for their own devices. The passage was collapsed and darkspawn reinforcements no longer seeped out from the Anderfels

5:20 - The long siege being laid against the Hossberg is finally broken.

5:21 Despite the victories of the previous year, year 21 of the Exalted Age see's the worst of the Fourth Blight. Darkspawn moved west over the ruined Free Marches, with the aid of the Champion of Starkhaven, Kirkwall and Cumberland are evacuated with few casualties.

5:22 Exalted Garahel forms a formidable ensamble of all races and skill. The Broken Circle, Stone's Bastards, The Masterless and among these and gather together and march to Starkhaven. Later still it is allied with the Marchers and united they flow north.

5:24 The Horde is pushed relentlessly back to Rivai and Antiva and attempts to lure the archdemon begin so to end The Blight. Starkhaven's Champion is among a ground unit outside the city of Ayesleigh. Using explosives the city is bombarded and heavy darkspawn casualties ensue. The heavy losses bring forth the archdemon Andoral, Dragon of Slaves. The Warden's counted with three fingers remained. Garahel takes to the sky, dodging arrows and manages to reach the archdemon, plunging his sword into its neck, weakened previously by a rabid griffon. The death of the archdemon kills the Warden and ends the Fourth Blight. Though many feel the end of the Blight was there, they war continues in the Anderfels and in the Deep Roads. Largely ignored aside from the Grey Wardens, may think that so many darkspawn where killed that surely no other Blight could follow. This thinking would cripple defenses at the start of the Fifth Blight.
