In Origins I know its possible to romance both Leliana and Morrigan successfully without having to break up with either of them, but I was wondering if one of the romances gets overridden or if they both successfully transfer in a save file?

Good question. I don't know for sure because I've never looked at the code. I'm only doing a double romance playthrough just now. In my first game I didn't romance either of them. I would think that Morrigan and Leliana are on separate files. Meaning, they each have their own "flag", rather than just one file that says who you romanced. This is because Leliana is supposed to have extra dialog in DA2 if you ever romanced her, even if you broke up. Also if you had a threesome with her and Isabella. Also, Morrigan has extra romance options in Witch Hunt. So my best guess is that they are separate files and that the two romances will be recorded separately. Whether both will transfer over to DA:I and coexist all depends on how they program DA:I. If they have it just test for the flags then yes. If they have it look for the first one in a list, then no. But it seems like they would want to test for both, since you can still break up with either one or choose Leliana then later choose to go with Morrigan. As far as DA2 goes, I think only Leliana's romance is tested for at all. Believe it! (talk) 22:24, July 29, 2013 (UTC)

Cool thanks, I really hope they take the double romance into account because that's part of my storyline lol

I wish they would, or at least fail to account for the glitch and just have the code recognize both events as valid. That might present a plot hole though if Leliana and Morrigan run into each other. The double romance is part of my mage's storyline as well. Ideally DA:I will have it to where neither of them mind it. Believe it! (talk) 20:35, July 30, 2013 (UTC)

They do take the duel romance into account. Well, it did for me in DA2 on several of my chars. I left through the portal in Witch Hunt, with Morrigan being mentioned several times by npcs, and then, when I got to the 3rd act of DA2, Leliana mentions still being in love with the Warden. --ShadowNic94 (talk) 21:23, July 30, 2013 (UTC)
