Tobrius is mage of the Kirkwall Circle of Magi.

Tobrius resides at the Gallows but will only be encountered during Act 1 if Carver survived.
Involvement[]
Tobrius is involved in the quest Family History. Hawke collects Tobrius's Documents from a chest in the Amell Estate Cellar storeroom during the Birthright quest.
Upon entering the Gallows Courtyard, Hawke encounters Tobrius, who reveals that he recognizes both Carver and Hawke. He mentions that he knew Malcolm Hawke and that he acted as a bridge between Malcolm and a Templar, Ser Maurevar Carver, since Malcolm couldn't write directly to Ser Maurevar should the Templar Order find out. Tobrius retrieves Malcolm's letters and gives them to Hawke.
