Sigrun's Joining allows Sigrun to become a full Grey Warden.
Walkthrough[]
Talk to Varel about Sigrun's joining and she will become a Grey Warden. This can be done at any time after she joins your party—although for story purposes it does not make sense until the Knotwood Hills are completed and she asks to become a Warden.
Result[]
Sigrun survives the Joining and becomes a Grey Warden. This can affect the epilogue.
Sigrun gains +1 Talent point. The same occurs for all successful Joining rituals.
If Sigrun joins the Grey Wardens:
Oghren approves (+6) (even if he was not in the party)
Sigrun approves (+2)
- The approvals are gained at the end of Last of the Legion.
Bugs[]
- If Sigrun is recruited as the very last companion, you will not be able to talk to Varel about having Sigrun becoming a Grey Warden because he is busy with other concerns. A workaround for this is to recruit Sigrun, proceed through the ruins of Kal'Hirol until the end of the Trade Quarter, take the exit as opposed to the stairs to the lower levels, return to Vigil's Keep and have Sigrun undergo the Joining, before returning to finish Kal'Hirol - Lower Reaches. You will still get the "Sigrun's Joining" quest message upon completing Knotwood Hills, but the quest completion and updated Codex entry will remain. Alternatively, a mod that fixes this can be found here.
- If Sigrun goes before Velanna in the Joining, you may hear Velanna's voice rather than hers.
- If the Warden goes back to Vigil's Keep prior to destroying the Broodmothers in Kal'Hirol, makes Sigrun a Grey Warden and then goes back to Kal'Hirol, there will still be a dialog with Sigrun at the end in which the Warden convinces her to become a Grey Warden.
