Faryn is a salesman of so-called "previously owned" goods. He can be found outside the entrance to Orzammar in the Frostback Mountains.

Faryn is a key part of the Sten's Lost Sword quest. He found it presumably amongst the remains of Sten's fellow Qunari soldiers near Lake Calenhad, then sold the plot of land to another scavenger. The sword, Asala, was then purchased by Dwyn of Redcliffe.
