Notes[]

  • The Mad Hermit will remain non-violent so long as things go the way he wants them to. He will attack the Warden however when annoyed and he is capable of some powerful magic, being a renegade Blood Mage. He will summon some Greater Rage Demons to assist him.
    Note: If the Warden searches the tree stump to recover the acorn prior to speaking with him and then ignores him when he informs them that the stump is his home, the Mad Hermit will attack without conversing further.
  • The Maleficar are encountered in the large barren area where the Warden finds one of the tombstones after having accepted the Mage Liaison's quest Thy Brother's Killer; after a short conversation the fight ensues.
