Dracolisks are powerful animals that can be used as mounts.
Background[]
The earliest known use of dracolisks were by hunters in the Donarks, but during the Steel Age they came into prominence as part of the Tevinter Imperium's cavalry where they are still used. To ensure the dracolisks were suitable for battle, they have been magically and selectively bred, resulting in an animal that is stronger and larger than its ancestors. It has been rumored that they may share blood with dragons or wyverns. Some breeds possess unique characteristics, such as poisonous spit or an ability to breathe fire or ice. The latter is bred by the current Archon's family.[1] The official cookbook implies that in Tevinter dracolisks are also used as food.[2]
