| Description:
| The caster's hands erupt with a cone of frost, freezing targets solid unless they pass a physical resistance check, and slowing their movement otherwise. Targets frozen solid by Cone of Cold can be shattered with a critical hit. Friendly fire possible.

- Freeze duration (adjusted for target's rank): 10s.
- Movement speed penalty: 40% for 10s.
- Range: 8m.
- Conjuration time: 1s.
- Being hit by this ability is supposed to generate 40 Threat in addition to damage-based Threat on the target(s). As of Patch 1.02, only damage-based Threat is drawn.
- Spell combinations: Shattering.

- Activation base is in mana and values vary with fatigue%.
- Using Cone of Cold on an Ogre holding a party member in its hand, will cause the Ogre to drop them, and become frozen, this makes it useful for freeing other party members from its attack.
- Arcane Warrior spellcasting: the spell must be cast with your weapon(s) sheathed.
